My 180 day mark it June 16th and I am prepared. I might have to change things when the calendar comes out, but for now they are ready to be made.

we are going dec 12-19 for my daughters first birthday. I bought tickets to Mvmcp last night
My 180 day is June 16- i think i have it all planned hopefully we can get ressies where we want

I am trying so hard to get our ADRS organised,I have to phone on the 4th June so need to be up around 4.30 in the am to get on the phone.Since it is our first trip I have no idea what I am doing ,but I have found some great help on this site.

I had a tentative schedule all done then I remember to check crowd calendar at touring plans for estimated crowd levels for our dates ! Now I have to start from scratch again! I am confused however about the crowd calender on the weekend that the Merry Christmas Day Parade DEC 6 &7 tapes ( which is the day we fly in) it says that the MK is the best park with the least crowd?! This is taped the same weekend everyear I can't imagagine they are not aware!

That is exactly the same reason that I decided to go that night. Some other Diser's said that would be a great night to go that week and what a better way to start a trip, especially for 2 little ones that have never been to WDW before. Hoping to get them excited for the rest of the week.

Hopefully it is a less crowded night but it is our first trip to WDW for the holiday season so we will have fun anyway. We are so excited.
Also the first trip with just DH and I.

From what I understand its all over by Sunday unless they need to do any reshoots...but I wouldn't think I'd want to go on the Sat.

However, there have been posts that say if you avoid the Main Street chaos the rides are fairly quiet while the actually shooting is taking place...that being said...you don't want to be there when it finishes up and the parade crowd heads for the rides!!

Personally I think I'd go to one of the other parks.

I just emailed DH at work to see if I could go ahead and book for December. We talked about possibly going at the end of the year. I mentioned to him then the need to make ADR's at the 180 day mark and he said he would let me know. But I hadn't heard anything and I was getting nervous. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I'm hoping to go Dec 7-14.

DH doesn't understand the urgency in the situation. With rooms booking up quickly for that time of year and of course the need to call on June 10 to make ADR's. If it was up to him, he would wait until October to decide and IF we were able to get a room, we'd be stuck eating CS all week.

I told him we can always cancel anytime before the 45 day mark and get our deposit back.

That was fast!! He said YES!!

I'm going to call this evening and try to get a room at WL. DH is going to want to stay on the monorail, but I just don't think we can afford it this time unless we could get a garden wing room at CR but I bet they are booked up. Plus I've always wanted to try the WL and I keep hearing how gorgeous it is at Christmastime. We were spoiled on our last trip getting that 40% off at GF.

New DISboard person here, longtime veteran of trips to Disney. Anyway, just booked this morning, Nov 30th - Dec 06th. Staying at the Coronado. MVMCP Dec 2nd. Myself, Wife and 6 year old son.

Well I called tonight and booked a courtyard view at WL for Dec 7-14!!!

OK - I'm waffling on my MVMCP date! I was originally thinking Thurs Dec 4, but now I'm thinking Sunday Dec 7. This is what I'm thinking for our trip:

12/4 Thursday MK morning - Epcot late afternoon/evening
12/5 Friday Epcot day (Candlelight Processional)
12/6 Saturday DHS day (Osborne Lights/Fantasmic)
12/7 Sunday MK morning - break - Ohana - MVMCP
12/8 Monday ?? morning - MK late afternoon/evening(Spectro/Wishes)
12/9 Tuesday ?? until we have to leave at 3pm

Monday and Tuesday we can repeat whatever park we want - or maybe try AK for part of the day. I always want more time in Epcot WS, so that may be where I want to go on Monday.(I'm assuming the taping of the Christmas parade will be that Fri and Sat, so I'm avoiding MK on those days altogether. )

Do you think that Sun the 7th is a good night for the MVMCP? That's the night I want to go, I just wasn't sure how crowded it would be. It would be our arrival day. I was hoping to check in, nap, freshen up and then head over to the park. Maybe have a late lunch or early dinner at the resort or something.

That does sound much better!!! We are starting our drive down in 27 more fridays. I think I will count fridays at least until we are under the 100 day mark.
