This is completely OT, but that Gatorade Derek Jeter ad made me tear up.

I'm not a Yankees fan, but Jeter is a class act. What a sweet send off.

I'm not into baseball at all or I probably would be a diehard Yankees fan. But, I do know who Derek Jeter is and it's been all over the local news about his retirement. I teared up too, watching that commercial.

This show is really growing tired for me. I barely watch it and flip between stations. I like to watch Alfonso and Sadie dance but thats about it.

I love Sadie and the entire Robertson family, but I didn't care for her dance last night, and I think its because I think Mark is too sleezy for her. She needs someone with more class. Sadie also does a funny thing with her mouth that is hard to describe, but its awkward! When the judges were talking to her it was like she couldn't figure out what to do with her lips, like there was too much lipstick or something. I don't know, but it was weird.

I noticed it too, I thought maybe she felt kind of awkward after Carrie Ann said something about the dance not being dad-approved, and didn't know what expression she should have on her face!

I hope they are done with that. If he wants her to be so sheltered why did he let her go on the show that features skimpy costumes, bare chests and hip thrusts?

I just found out the reason why Willy has to approve her dresses. It has to be a marketing campaign for the "Sadie Robertson Live Original" line of prom dresses and other items that Sadie is hawking along with Sherri Hill: http://starcasm.net/archives/238453

According to a press release announcing the partnership, the collection is retro inspired, “Willie approved,” and has something to fit every girl’s style.

Willie approves of Sadie's DWTS costumes and now your DD can wear a modest prom dress that is also "Willie approved". Brilliant! I have to admire those Robertsons. They certainly know how to make scads of money.

I agree, but Mark seems to have become the go-to guy for conservative Christian women. Frankly, I thought that V-V-Val did a better job of genuinely protecting the innocence of Zenyata instead of just paying lip service to it.

I for one would be glad to see some more modest prom dresses coming up for my girls, but the one I saw her wearing in the article didn't look any more modest than most of what is out there. It still came down in a V at the bust and wasn't much if any longer than the usual. Hopefully the actual line of dresses will be better. DD15 is very long waisted and many of the short styles literally do not cover her butt in a standing position, much less moving around. My girls would love something with straps and a straight-across bustline.

I noticed something odd with her teeth. I was wondering if she actually had veneers or whatever that cosmetic dentistry is called. Her teeth looked "bigger".

I'm so glad you said this! I absolutely agree!

When I found out Sadie was going to be on the show, I told DH that I hoped she ended up w/ Val because of how protective & "big brother" he was w/ Zendaya.

Mark always seems to get the "conservative Christian female," but I don't think he does a good job choreographing to their strengths (example - that gold disco dance w/ Candace) & has too much "crazy" in his routines (example - the gorilla costumes w/ Bristol). I'm wasn't even a Bristol fan, but I felt sorry for her.

I think Val would be a much better "match." He seems to be instinctively protective - remember how he "covered" for Iggy last season?

I missed last weeks shows, saw both of this weeks. This is the first time that I literally had to pull up google to figure out who these "stars" are.

There doesn't seem to be any clear front runners and I really don't have any connection to any of them, I guess I like Alphonso and that guy from Mean Girls? Some of the stars are kind of painful to watch.

I was dreading the fourth judge, but it does seem to cut down on the time each one can talk.

I still haven't seen anybody dance, one of these days I want to catch Michael Waltrip. But just so y'all know. Dale Earnhardt Jr. has officially told his fans to vote for Mikey That's about half of NASCAR. And half of those vote for Mikey then he's the next Bill Engvall
