But he did dance better than that atrocious dance last week. Agree with Julianne.

They couldn't do ANYTHING resembling the dance from West Side Story? But, it's obviously the song from West Side Story. And it's supposed to be an homage to the musical?

When Derek or whomever danced Footloose last season, it LOOKED a lot like the dance from Footloose.

Poor Val. At least he wasn't given the mambo song and the mambo dance in WSS and then told he couldn't do the mambo.

The first 17 seconds of their dance lacked so much content. You could tell Val was at a loss as to what to put in instead.

Bethany and Derek's dance was really great, but more for Derek's choreography than Bethany's dancing. They were nicely synced but I wasn't really wow'd by her. The dance itself was fabulous.
