I think, most dancers crush on their partners. It's not uncommon.

I think it's a little Stockholm syndrome too .

I am ok with any of them winning actually. I personally don't think Sadie is quite strong enough and is a bit awkward at times, but she grew a ton. I also think Bethany grew a lot and I do like her, but I get a nagging feeling its Derek's masterful choreography more than her dance skill.

Janel impresses me a lot. A lot of the really small dancers seem to just get flung around by their partners but she really digs in and has a lot of strength to her dancing. I also really like how Alfonso and Whitney have grown. I thought they had zero chemistry at the beginning, but really seemed to mesh now.

I guess I am pulling for Janel and Alfonso about equally, but I could see any of them taking it. For once I am glad a dud is not in the finals. Haven't seen that in forever!

I wasn't watching DWTS yet when Marie was a contestant, but now I feel I need to watch the dance just to see how awful it was...

I just wanted to let you know how much my DH loves me! My DD swims tonight and tomorrow from 7-9 so I'm going to drop her off and he'll pick her up. So, I'll only be about 30 minutes timeshifted and I'll probably catch up toward the end.

I do wonder what they will do with the breaking news on the Ferguson grand jury. They are set to release that info at 8:00 CST.

I was wondering that too. I don't think ABC will be the only national network NOT covering the verdict/decision (whatever the Grand Jury thingie is called) in favor of a dance show, while CNN gives constant coverage to the verdict and any riots that break out. Maybe they will just cut in and out during the show. I don't mind if they do that while Julianne & Carrie Ann are talking.

I envision a commerical break will be utilized for a breaking news announcement with no program interruption at the most.

Looks like they will be doing one of the dances they did with same costumes.

Apparently we get to see the weird duck hunting dance again.

ETA: it's a judges pick of a dance that could be improved upon.

Bethany and Derek--first week jive to Shake it off with original score of 32

Bruno advising them. Problems with the transitions originally--dance can never stop.

Okay--looked like she forgot something at one point and my darn feed froze, so missed about 3 seconds. Blah.

And set had an issue when it was being moved--it did look like it. Bed wasn't move in time and she stepped on the blanket.

Len: very improved. Said there was a mistake.
Julianne: no more shell
Bruno: she was ideal student--did everything asked. He did call them out on mistake--same one I saw with timing later in the dance.
Carrie Ann: hot mama dancer now, but mistakes.

Tonight's score:
All 9's for a 36.

Tease--something about Janel and a broken rib and an unprecedented missing 3 days of rehearsal.

I hope it looks less skeevy than it did the first time. It did not seem to support the family values since it looked like her daddy dancing with a duckling in a non-familial way.
