Don't know why--but Peta looks a little Natasha Richardson like in the video.

Tommy did a decent job with the Quick step. But he looked a little behind in count, especially at the beginning. But I thought it was pretty good otherwise.

Bruno: did well with but hold, but once he left the hold--his knickers were in a twist.

Carrie Ann--deducting for timing. (I knew it!) but thought he was otherwise decent.

Erin and her shrill voice are back. Ugh. Back to muting the interviews. It was nice to actually hear what they were saying last week.

Will Artem keep his shirt on....maybe that will improve scores.

She is icing her ribs in the video.

Wow_Artem is covered from his neck to his toes.

I really wish Lea would stop slouching! Perhaps this is a natural part of her spine but it is driving nuts.

Dance was lovely otherwise. She has nice legs. And I'm glad Artem left his entire body to the imagination.

Juliann--says they need to give themselves a break. Trying way too hard every week. Yes pressure at week 7, but bring back fun. She wants to see chemistry again.

Bruno--he liked it. (Said in Bruno langauge.) and yes, he needs Bubble wrap.

Len--very clean and precise. Started hot, but then lacked chemistry.

I forecast Lea tears next week. She is smiling with Erin.

I think Lea has self esteem issues.

Bethany and Derk: Paso Doble

Not a fan of her hair. Just gonna get that out there.

Derek is being a hard butt this week.

Good Paso--but not much of a fan of this routine. Paso was very good though.

Bruno was a fan.
Carrie Ann was a fan. (I agree--it was intense. And that is good.)
Len was not a fan. He just wants to see a Paso Doble.
Julianne--says Len was right as far as why he had his opinion, but she disagrees and was a fan.

I'm with Len.

Viennese Waltz
Antonio and Cheryl--might work for his hips.

Cheryl says first time he has gotten the dance down. It's the hips, I tell you!


He is doing rise and fall. That's good.
In buying what they're selling.
No hips needed!

That last spin was a little rough, though.


Carrie Ann isn't buying. Says it never seems smooth and it just makes if uncomfortable to watch.

Len--a bit hectic. Thinks he (literally) started on the right foot.

Juliann--didn't like there he walked and posed for first 11 bars. Says everything was kind of off.


(I did see a little rise and fall though, so there was that.)

Dancing is not poor Antonio's thing.

I thought that Tommy did MUCH better than I expected.

I agree with Mr. Grumpy. Lea and Artem completely lacked chemistry. They were so disconnected. Artem's costume was awesome!

Michael and Emma jive--in a cowboy costume.

Apparently it is a difficult thing for Michael to do fast steps.

And I love the song.

He did struggle with foot work. I think he just faked it as if was kept in, but didn't look good with those quick kicks. To me, that would be the easiest part.

Len is surprised he made it to week 7. Says he is running on empty. Did his best but not good enough.

Juliann says it was a nightmare.
(Thinking judges can be honest without being so blessedly awful.)

Bruno says if wasn't a jive. Timing was bad.

Carrie Anne--great freestyle but supposed to be a jive.

So, no it was NOT good.

Me too. I find myself agreeing with Mr. Grumpy again. I think that her stupid hair made her uncomfortable and she wasn't quite as good as she could have been.

Janel and Val--Viennese waltz to the song from pretty little liars
Val says she is embracing character too much. He wants to present a very traditional dance with a PLL costume on it. (Wonder if he have Janel far too much leeway.)

Her costume is ugly.


It looked waltz-y to me, but I'm not an expert.

Juliann-missing proper V. Waltz. Halloween theme took over.

Bruno--lines and stuff with the arms. She interrupts her arms. Good number.

Carrie Ann--disagree with them, felt fluidity if motion and food mix of proper form and theme.

Wonder what magic they worked with his groin injury.

And she kneed him during rehearsals.

Rumba

Is it me or is he doing way less? Nice dance, but I felt like it was mostly her until towards the end.

He doesn't hurt. Maybe the therapy if kneeing him in the man parts helped.

Bruno--watch the feet
Carrie Ann--proper rumba (I guess guys don't do much.)
Len--didn't mess about cleaning windows--proper rumba! Noted pigeon toes on occasion and posture--but happy with the proper rumba.

It was a pretty dance. I guess I don't know it well.
