I'm glad you said it because I've been thinking it for many weeks. Just really tired of all the pity tears.


Really sorry to see Danica go, wish it was Amy or James. James is till there because he's a pretty boy.

I like Derek and Amy, but seriously, she spent half the dance sitting on a stool. How is that dancing?

I'm watching timeshifted (again!) and I HATED Amy's dance. She sat on the stool for half the time and they botched the dance at the end. I think they were supposed to have her sit back on the stool again but missed it. They covered it up (obviously) well. NO WAY did that dance deserve 10's. Ugh.

Post of the night. She was much witchier than I anticipated. Good for Maks for saying what the rest of them were thinking. Derek couldn't start clapping fast enough.

Agree with virtually everyone else's comments tonights.

Sad for Danica but not that sad. I'd rather see Candace another week than her.

I hope James goes next. He seemed like he was stomping around during that waltz. I just don't care for him. And Peta's stress level is uncomfortable. She looks like she might pass out or throw up at all times.

Despite my Maks/Meryl love, I think 9s for their first dance were fair. And their dance duel was not my favorite but I think they also got the toughest dance style to synchronize.

Glad Charlie had a big night, he deserves it.

Candace had a great night for her. I really liked her dance with Charlie.

Ah, the recap of last's week's injury which we already saw. The ambulance. The doctor's visit. The stool. The fog machine ( I suspect Derek actually owns that fog machine himself considering how often he uses it). Then a perfect score! Now let's talk about the constant chiropractor visits. A new dance! A new dance partner. Then a fall. Then more crying. Then...miraculous recovery and the best jive anyone has ever done in fringe pants in the history of the show. Sigh. I am over it. It makes me feel like an awful person but I am just over it.

Did we see this much coverage and rehash of Danica's injury?

I agree. Sad that we'll probably get Amy & James in the final. I'm sure the fix is in for Amy so I guess it really doesn't matter. Such a shame.

Just caught back up. Had to run out for a bit.

I agree with everyone... the "Amy on the stool" dance (we should name it that) was completely undeserving of the score. I almost feel like it's not worth watching for the rest of the season, since we already know who will win. Guaranteed.

Yay for Maks for sticking it to that broad. I can't believe the producers thought bringing her in was a good idea. But I guess it worked since we are talking about her now.

I still love Charlie. Giving him all my votes again this week.

No, because Danica isn't an inspiring Olympian who is used to working through the pain .

My favorite of the duo-duel dances was Candace and Charlie's dance. I thought it was really awesome. I loved how Charlie picked her up and danced with her in his arms. I also liked Amy and James' jive. I thought both were very good, although I too saw Amy's mistake. I didn't like Meryl and Danica's dance at all. It was really a hot mess. I really don't think M-M-Maks and V-V-Val work particularly well together. Do you remember Season 14 when Melissa Gilbert was in a Chmerkovskiy sandwich? It was the same and she was eliminated. All my votes are going to Meryl every week. I just wish I didn't finish watching the show until I was too late to call.

My favorite dance of the night was Charlie's. I was literally holding my breath through most of it and then I would suddenly remember to breathe. Amazing!

ITA! ....After knowing how little most of the professional dancers thought of the reality trash (Abby) going into it, I gained new respect for Maks politely saying what most thought of having her there. I also thought it was funny and quite telling how quickly and assertively Derek started clapping when Maks said what he said.

I just want to know who the heck at ABC thought having her as a guest judge was an even decent idea.

Ah, right, I forgot. My (limited) understanding is that Danica's injury is actually more serious and could cause more serious damage if she aggravates it than Amy's but we'll never know.

That samba was a mess. I also hate that song so that didn't help. I was disappointed because I love me some Maks and Val and I love Meryl. I think you might be right about them not working well together though. Who knew that too much Chmerkovskiy could be a bad thing?

Charlie was my fave tonight, individually and with Candace.

Oh, it wasn't very polite . Unfortunately, she took it out on his partner. You would think that Maks learned his lesson a few seasons ago. I do think that Abby finally realized that the audience really didn't want to hear her nitpicking and stuck to saying just nice things and voting. Those poor kids. I feel sorry for the one that said she thought Abby would be meaner.

I missed Charlies dance, is there anywhere I can watch it? The ABC site said it would be available in 7 or 8 days but would like to see it sooner.

How hilarious was it after the duel dance when Abby said she only wished she knew what a one night stand was and there was complete and total silence in the ballroom.... And an eye roll from CAI.. I imagine both Len and Bruno were thinking to themselves, don't look at ME!! and then I like to think that Tom was thinking don't look at me either...
