Official Dancing With the Stars: Fall 2015

That twerp as Danny Zuko? No. Just no.
Completely agree.

Wasn't to bad. It kills me he didn't know Grease, well it makes me feel old.
Don't let it make you feel old. I agree with the previous poster. He's uncultured. My daughter is 5 and she knows Grease.

Not impressed with Andy
I wasn't either. I was shocked they gave him a perfect score.

I thought it was much more worthy of 10s then Andy's
Agree. Just as good as Andy's, but neither was the perfect dance.

I thought they were a little hard on Alexa and her and Mark are definitely super awkward. Not as awkward as Leah though! Was anyone else disappointed that they didn't have Bindi in the red room when Alexa had the snake?
I thought that they were hard on Alexa, too. And I was telling my husband that I was sure Bindi was just wanting to get through her dance so she could go play with the python.

For sure Paula's best dance but also the one with the least content...I am unfamiliar with the rules of jazz but it sort of seems like anything goes

Carrie Ann is Carrie Ann. Sharna did excellent....she did the best at merging the two dances together.

It was shaky, I think that may have been because of Derek...heck I'd be shaky too if I was doing something I hadn't
The lift seemed a little rushed, but I loved the dance. And, Bindi's learned to dance in heels!

No, the lift was shaky because of the female or the one being lifted. (According to my ex-BF.) When I was watching the movie for the first time with my ex-BF, who used to be a dancer, he said Jennifer Grey's balance & weight was all wrong. There IS an actual technique to a lift. He said she didn't know how to balance herself to make herself "light." The closest I can explain it is: anyone had a small kid that just doesn't want to be picked up and moved, like to go to bed? They make themselves into dead weight and heavy, and suddenly they are hard to move or pick up. Whereas, normally you can lift them right up and play piggy-back with no problems. It's kind of like that. Patrick Swayzee, who was an accomplished dancer, even had a hard time lifting Jennifer up because her balance 7 how she held herself was off. She kind of plopped into his arms.

And there Jennifer was again, and the only advice she could give was "Trust yourself." And since Derek didn't know how to teach Bindi to balance her weight properly either, the lift ended up heavy & shaky.

That makes sense.

Nick's was the best dance so far, bar none. That was excellent. He was in character and really nailed the dance. Carrie Anne is a twit.

I didn't feel it. Saturday Night Fever is one of my all time favorite movies (except the very end with the bridge.) I think I just can't watch "recreations" of people trying to dance like John Travolta. :headache: :(

I want to love nick and that dance sort of lost my interest. I'm surprisingly ho hum on him.

Too hard on Alek :(

Agreed...why are they being so hard on him both last week and this week?!

I agree. He's not a performer like everybody else, except Paula. And even Paula did well for Paula. But trying to do "Elvis" is hard for die-hard impersonators who LOVE Elvis.

Tamar nailed that dance. Could be just a bit crisper. But that is being extremely nit-picky. :p

I thought she did great when she was dancing on her own, but she doesn't seem to be as confident when she is with Val.
