Official Dancing With the Stars: Fall 2015

He and Tamar were my least favorites so I'm perfectly okay with this. Is this the first time someone from the winning team went home?

You were right! :worship:
To be honest, the reason I thought that was going to happen was because I didn't think that dance was worth all 10's. I thought that it was a bit simple and they were not in sync at the end of their dance. They were still give a perfect score, though. I figured that they got a perfect score because it was time for Derek to lose. Of course, they didn't have to prop up Team Nightmare after all because Team Who You Gonna Call decided to shoot themselves in the foot, but how did the producers know that was going to happen? ;)

I threw my votes to my favorite, however in a whole I was underwhelmed by the entire show tonight and I usually enjoy it.

Okay, here's my issue. Team Who You Gonna Call was out of sync at the beginning, but Team Nightmare was out of sync at the end of their dance.

As you said Team Nightmare may have been a little out of sync at the end, but they weren't going to mention that if it was Derek's time to lose. Interesting how they happened to have the footage of Bindi being a little off, available to show right away. :rolleyes1

I thought Alexa had messed up when she met up with Mark - she seemed to miss his hand then grab it. I thought the other team did a really good job, and enjoyed Bindi and Derek, as usual. I'm glad Hayes went out on a high. I also think Tamar is hurting herself and not listening to her partner to step up. She doesn't have the greatest attitude.

I saw that, too. There was more wrong with that dance than the Bindi thing at the beginning. Did they "throw" the dance as other people are suggesting? That seems a little out there to me. Who knows.

I think all the judges see what they want to see when it suits them (or the producers :ssst: ) Carrie Ann isn't the only one that does it.

Notice Julianne didn't see her brother's partner mess up. :rolleyes1 Since the other team had a perfect score, it only took ONE judge to give a 9 for them to not have all perfect 10s too.

It must be hard for Tamar to live in Toni's shadow. There probably is a lot of competition between them, even if they get along. Reminds me of the movie, The Bodyguard. What Bruno said about Tamar coming on so uber strong at the beginning, with a stalker-like quality to win, I've seen that in Toni.

Toni was performing on The Grammys one year with Kenny G. Kenny started the song with his soft jazz, solo intro. Then Toni literally stalked onstage toward Kenny in an overy-dramatic way, that absolutely looked ridiculous in comparison with Kenny's overly-relaxed style. It was like they weren't in the same song or performance. But, Toni was determined to make a STRONG, dramatic entrance. Kenny new she looked ridiculous. He just kind of looked at the camera & shrugged slightly like, "It is what it is," and kept playing his saxophone clarinet in his relaxed way. And Toni wasn't changing to match him no matter how ridiculous she looked or how out of sync she was with him.

I think both sisters have been taught to just come on strong, no matter what. So I think it's hard for Tamar to be open & vulnerable, which is what she'd have to be to trust Val more and listen to his advice.

Hayes' twitter fans are also going nuts and saying that DWTS lost half of their viewers by kicking him off. Um, he got his best scores tonight, got a perfect on the team dance, and still got kicked off. Clearly, he didn't have the votes. So, if he really did bring in half the viewers, they let him down by not voting. I'm thinking he didn't bring in as many viewers as they think. I'd wager that Val and Derek alone have more people tuning in for them, regardless of who they dance with, than Hayes. But I don't have anything to back that up.

i feel very underwhelmed this episode

Me too! I usually love the Halloween episode but this one was just kinda blah. Even the team dances seemed lackluster to me this time.

Not sad to see Hayes go. He might have a vocal twitter fan base but I don't think they were really tuning in and voting.
I still don't like Tamar. I don't get any feelings from her when she dances. She comes across as too cold for my taste.
I am liking Andy and Nick more and more each week.

It just was lack luster for some reason and I can't pinpoint where unless it was just the dances weren't as exciting.

Tamar is like frozen facially.

I actually liked Alexa's dance.

I thought Hayes did well, as did Tamar though once again there was the disconnect between her and Val. I did see eye contact between them once.

Sasha is a hoot!

While Bindi's dance was good, I didn't like her scary faces. To me it just looked like she tried too hard and having her mouth open so wide made it look like a big smile at times. I would rather had her frown and show her fangs a little.

Carlos was on fire and deserved at least two 10's.

Team Nightmare was on fire tonight. I loved their routine. It was obvious who was going to win. Bindi's team just didn't have that wow factor and I didn't care for their choreography. I expected more especially with Mark and Derrick on the same team. I saw Alex mess up right in the beginning and I knew it was all over at that point.

Tamar may be a tough personality to take but she dances really really well. I don't see the 'disconnect' that keeps getting mentioned. And Nick, all he can do is lift. He doesn't really dance. Look as his feet, they are awful. Andy wasn't that great early on and now he's doing better but still not 9-10 quality. Alek is better than both Nick and Andy. Hayes was really good so I am not sure why he's gone. Alexa was blah this week but Carlos was fantastic. Bindi is always good. But watch...Nick will win even though he sucks! Everyone just loves a Backstreet Boy...ick! I think Bindi, Tamar and Carlos are the best dancers.
