Official Dancing with the Stars - All Stars

I think the couples in the most danger tonight are:

Drew/Anna (if I had to bet on someone going home, I'd bet on him)
Sabrina/Louis
Helio/Chelsie
Emmitt/Cheryl

I still think Bristol should go home but last night was definitely her best dance so I think she lives to see another day. Kirstie seems to have a trillion people voting for her, so I think she could be bottom three but will likely stay another week.

Did anyone else have trouble voting? I was splitting my votes between Kirstie/Max and Melissa/Tony and got the all circuits are busy or uncompleted call messages several times. That has never happened to me when voting for DWTS though it used to happen a lot on Idol.

I think you are right on the couples. I'm a Kirstie voter, never really cared much for Maks until he danced with Kirstie but I do agree they aren't the best dancers. But if there is any chance that Bristol will go then the couple closes to them needs votes. Plus at this point there is no one else that I really care that much about.

I found out the first week that it is good to vote before the show ends, since they allow the voting to start when the show starts and have such a limited time to vote when it's over. I wish they would not allow the voting to start until everyone has danced and them have voting for 2 hours. I think they encourage voting for fan favorties the way they set up the voting.

I think the bottom 3 will be:

Melissa & Tony - They had a great score, but I just don't think they have the fan base. I think it will be tonight's shocker.
Drew & Anna - I have been voting for them, but I know of many Anna haters who won't vote for her at all. I think tonight is the end of the road for them.
Bristol & Mark - They may or may not be in the bottom 3, but the producers will put them there to encourage their voters to keep them another week next week. They won't go home tonight.
Sabrina & Louis - #3 if the producers do bottom 3 only.

Does anyone have any guesses on how they are going to eliminate the 2nd couple? Do you think it might be a dance off?

And yes, I have had a heck of a time voting. I am giving most of my votes to Apolo, but I keep on thinking "Oh! I liked So-and-so's dance!" so I end up giving them a vote or two. Which is exactly why Kirstie and Bristol will be there for a while yet. They both have a dedicated fan base.

I agree. What I don't get is why the judges are scoring everyone so close together! Everyone seemed to get either an 8, 8.5, or 9! I understand that Bristol and Kirstie did "their best dances ever," but their best dances ever are not even close to as good as some of the other dancers' performances EVERY WEEK.

So I wish the judges would show a little more separation in their scores. That would also help even out the at home voting, so you don't have people like Helio leave and Bristol stay! (If that were to happen, which I could see it happening tonight!) :crazy2:

Oh ... good point! Maybe I'll dedicate one phone number to the couple closest to Bristol to try to save them.

I used to vote based on who I thought was the best dancer which would mean that I wouldn't be voting for Kirstie and Maks (even though I love Maks and love them together). However, by bringing Bristol back, the producers have essentially made it a "fan favorite" competition not a dancing competition (not that it ever was THAT much of a pure dancing competition). So now I have no shame in voting for Kirstie and Maks even though she is clearly not the best dancer. I would much rather see her another week than Bristol so she gets the bulk of my votes.

I did throw a few votes Melissa's way mostly because I like seeing Tony so happy. :)

I agree! I love Tony, he so deserves a win.
He has had some Doozies thru the years (Kate Gosselin):crazy2: was a true nightmare. Bossy B*&^H!!!

I totally agree. I am no fan of Bristol's (trust me) but if I were her, I would be really angry after the "slam back" she got last week for breaking the rules. Shawn and Derek's dance would have been a fantastic freestyle but it was not even close to being a real quickstep and even though Carrie-Ann said she would have to "slam" them too, she still gave them a 9 which is ridiculous.

I would also be peeved if I were Sabrina who tried so hard to NOT break the rules and ended up with a lackluster dance. Then she sees Derek and Shawn break 400 rules and get a fantastic score.

Based on tonight, if I were one of the pros, I would just choreograph whatever the heck I wanted from here on out and see what happens since it doesn't seem to matter if you follow the rules of the dance anymore. At least if you are Derek. :confused3

While I loved Shawn's and Derek's routine and gave them some votes, I made sure to give Sabrina several of my votes too, for the exact reason you stated. ::yes::

I did, too! I wish there was "brain bleach" so that I could remove the images of Kate Gosselin dancing from my memory. :lmao:

I love seeing Tony really enjoying himself. I thought their dance routine was excellent. :thumbsup2

I just had a flashback to her stomping around the floor with those crazy eyes. *Shudder*

I totally agree. That has been my strategy so far. Kirstie is abetter dancer than Bristol. But with Bristol's mom's fan base, ANY better dancer can go home as long as Bristol is on. So, I've been giving my votes to the next slightly better dancer - Kirstie & Maks, so they can stay around instead, if that is even possible, to even up the votes.

I also vote the best dancer/my favorite, Gilles, who gets the my most votes.

I wanted to throw some votes to Kelly as she did fabulously last nite. But, with a double elimination coming tonight, I couldn't take the chance and take some votes away from Gilles.

Papa-papa-paparazzi !

S.T.O.P! :crazy2: :scared1:

At least Mark didn't say to Bristol when she had her meltdown, "At least you're better than Kate Gosselin." :lmao:

I loved Derek and Shawns dance. I don't know what rules they broke nor do I care as their dance was powerful and energetic. I was disappointed in Emmitts dance thought he would have done better with a cha cha or samba or even the jive.

 I thought so too. But, this is like the 5th or 6th time where the judges have raved that Derek had the "best dance we've ever seen on DWTS." I often wonder if they just say that to stroke his ego, so he won't follow his sister Julianne and leave. I do think he is the best choreographer & dance teacher. But, I didn't think this dance was the level they were raving about.

Speaking of choreography, it is really great to see Tony & Louie get great dancers and that we get to see the advanced levels of what these guys can really do. :thumbsup2

Can I just say.....:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2!

:wave2: All my votes to Gilles as well yesterday! Looove him :cloud9: (And he's a good dancer!)

Anyone else watching the hour recap? I loved most all of the dances, so I figured this gave me a chance to see them again. ::yes::

I miss Kyle and Lacey. Da-mn, he's keeping up with the dance troupe.
