***Official Candlelight Processional Dining Package Watch - 2018***

Today is only the 29th and they said it was the 30th last year. And wouldn't they announce when they are available to book?
The 30th was the last Friday in June last year, so I think we all assumed the announcement would be on the last Friday of June this year. Making an announcement on a Saturday would be unusual.

Ahh. Still working on morning coffee.:surfweb: But I still think we will see an announcement before we can book

I just wish they would announce a partial list of narrators. There are three days I can choose from to attend, and I really want to see who will be there before finalizing my plans. Of course, I realize my dates may not be on that list, and I realize that narrators can change. But I just want something, anything at this point.

As some PP mentioned maybe because of TS land opening they want the focus on that and not what is happening at the end of the year. But still i pop on and check.

If they are released do they make an announcement and then reservations are open say at 9am. This is our first time being able to attend so I'm not sure how it all gets announced. I usually pop on to check and see a bit after 9am. We have a few options for restaurants so I am sure if I happen to get online the same day reservations open I should be able to find something.

I can handle just about anyone except Whoopi, so hopefully my dates will be ok

In my experience the narrator list comes way later than the dining packages (or maybe my dates are always the last ones to be nailed down). I just book blind & hope I get someone good!

I guess I'm a little more picky. If I don't like the narrator, I probably won't attend. But the CP isn't new to me.

I'm preparing myself for that. Last year, the partial list that was announced before the packages included the dates I'll be there this year, so I'm hoping that's the case this year as well.

Just checking in. I will be at Disney Dec. 8-14. We have never done CP before. I haven't decided if I want to try for a lunch or dinner reservation or if we will use points from our dining plan or pay OP. I am hoping that all of that will fall into place when the packages drop.
:bored:

What time are you usually able to book the dinner package? 6 am? Is there a day or two notice or you just have to check every morning to see if you can book it? I read that last year it was available on June 30.

It looks like a lot of people are throwing around June 30th as the date from last year. If you check the first few posts on this thread, you will see that the first narrators were announced on June 29th / 2017. And the bookings opened up on JULY 1st / 2017. So, likely some narrators will be announced several days before it's available for booking.

For those who are staying up all night waiting for the reservations to drop, get some shut eye and wait a few more days :)

I use the previous year as a guide, and hope for the best. The day I can go is the day I can go, so I also hope for the best.

I'll be there from December 8th through the 12th! I'm doing a breakfast reservation and then snacking around the World.

I wonder if they will delay announcement with the Opening of Toy Story Land being usual date?
