Sorry I did not read all of the posts so if this is a repeat sorry in advance.

We are having a 25th wedding celebration in our DVC grand villa. Can I have a cake delivered or do I have to pick it up? I am gathering the Grand Floridian is the best place to order from. Please offer your opinions. Again, sorry if asked and answered. TIA

I would either call the cake hotline and follow the prompts or I would call the resort themselves and ask if they will deliver a cake to your room.

The only bakeries you can 'pick it up' at are Boardwalk Bakery and Magic Kingdom Bakery on Main Street.

You cannot pick up cakes at the GF bakery. It's not an actual bakery that you can walk up to. It is the resort's private bakery for their guests.

Could anyone tell me what these already prepared cakes look like? Do they have Disney characters on them? I haven't really looked around in there before.

You can order the cake to have what you like on it. The 8" cakes have a choice of confetti decorations or floral. 10" and larger cake can be customized with character images staring at $30 extra. Just follow the instruction from the cake hotline.

Cakemanbri - since you seem to be an insider expert I'll ask you. Can you get custom flavors in an 8" cake at either GF or BW bakery? I'd like to order a chocolate cake w/amaretto filling (our wedding cake flavor) for our anniversary dinner on 5/4 at Narcoossees or I could pick it up at BW bakery since we're staying at BWV. Thanks.

I can't give you an exact answer but in the past I know the GF has granted the request of custom flavors in cakes. I'll you can do is ask. I know thats not a whole lot of help but thats all I can recommend.

I hope someone can help, I've been doing research, but not making out well. I have ADR'S for shutters at Caribbean Beach at Old Port Royale, its my boyfriends mothers BDAY. I want a cake, do I call the resturant itself? or another bakery, and will they deliver it to the restuarant? Ive pretty much figured out that Whispeing Canyon Cafe has a bakery, think Im ok there (fathers day night dinner). Any help would be appreciated

I was originally going to order a cake when we go to 1900 Park Fare for dinner, but we are now going to MK to watch Spectro and Wishes, so i was thinking of getting hime one at LeCellier on his actual birthday.

If you check out the first post of this thread, there is a universal cake-ordering hotline for WDW. All you do is call one number and then follow the prompts for the restaurant where you want the cake delivered. You don't need to call individual bakeries or restaurants.

All the restaurants at Epcot are serviced by the same bakery, so if you check out pictures of *any* Epcot restaurant cake in this thread or the picture-only thread, you will get some idea. If you want a really impressive-looking cake and the possibility for flavors other than vanilla or chocolate, you might wanna stick with the 1900 Park Fare idea, since the Grand Floridian Bakery offers way more options than the theme park bakeries.
