Can someone please help me on this one or at least point me in the right direction????

I have been trying to order a cake for the last two weeks. I want to get a cake for dh & I's anniversary which we will be celebrating in Disney June 1-6th. I wanted to have the cake at the dinner on our last night in Disney at the Rose and Crown. I have been through about 6 different numbers on who I should speak with, the number on the first post isn't right, it just makes a really fast busy signal, the number to the restaurant is just the number to the direct kitchen, I finally left a message at this # 407-560-6395, which is the # for special dining and cake orders, well, I had to leave a message, the first time a girl called me back, was extremely short and rude, and she spoke so quickly that I really didn't get the chance to understand what all she was saying about all the different choices so I just thanked her and got off the phone, deciding to try and speak to someone different. The second girl that called me back was nice but told me the only cake I could get was the 6" generic cake and it was unpersonalizable., Is This Right?!? Please let me know who I should call and if it is possible to get another cake other than the generic one. Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone,

I need some help. I have a question. My oldest DD will be celebrating her 21st birthday while we are in DW and I would like to order a custom cake for her from GF bakery. DH and I will be dining at V & A's on 9/20 and I was wondering if I would have a problem if I asked GF to have the cake boxed and deliver it to V & A for us to pick up at the conclusion of our dinner? We could then take it over to WL to WCC and ask if they can store it there for our ADR on 9/21. Any advice and info would be appreciated thanks.

Blessed Be,
Tina

I would think they could... have you called the GF bakery to ask? or V&A's?

Just thought i'd post a photo of the cake i ordered for DFather. we were eating at Cali grill so my call was directed to private dining and a lady who was really helpful and patient. I ordered an 8inch because we couldn't personalise a 6inch. It was a vanilla cake with white choc icing and filling and it was fantastic. Just asked for the writing and she offered some mickey head sprinkles and the rest was just done by the decorater. I'm not a big cake eater but I really enjoyed it. We took a lot of it home, but because of the DDP were rarely hungry enough to eat it.

I was able to switch our resort reservations to the Boardwalk today! We are celebrating my daughter's 13th birthday and would love to have a cake for her at either our Flying Fish or Spoodles night. Has anyone had the Boardwalk Bakery do a Tinkerbell themed cake? If not, we may have to go with the Mickey head shaped cake. Tink is her favorite character so that would be perfect.

Thanks,
Melanie

No I have'nt called them yet.I was hoping someone may have done something similar sometime recently and could tell if they had any kind of problems doing so.

You'll have to call and ask GF/V&A.

As far as I know they do not offer pick ups and what you want to do is kind of like doing a pick up. Maybe if you get a nice CM willing to go the extra mile for you and you are eating in one of their restaurants, maybe they'll help you out.

Good luck.

Does anyone know the answer to my question?

Can a cake be ordered to be delivered to Saratoga Springs? On the front page there isnt a tel number to call. I was hoping to get an anniversary cake delivered to our room as I dont want to carry it around after dinner.

Thanks
Andrea

Quick question all, I want to order our wedding celebration cake for our dinner that night. I have seen a picture of 2 on here that I love, the question is this: Do I just describe the one I want in great detail to the CM I place the order with? :bride:

SSR's phone number: 407-827-1100. Why don't you call them? I am doubtful that delivery is available because there is no in room dining at SSR (according to allearsnet.com which could be wrong). Room service is normally required for cake delivery.

BeattyFamily,

Thank you for the info. I just called V&A and changed my ADR to include DD and I am now waiting for a call back to arrange a custom cake for our dinner with her there. Of course I could be really sorry for doing this, if she decides she likes V & A DH and I may never have another Mom and Dad's night out ever again at DW LOL.

Blessed Be,
Tina

I just ordered a cake for my in-laws 50th Anniversary next weekend. Were they supposed to give me a confirmation number?

Has anyone ever ordered a cake while staying at the Dolphin? I'll be there next week for my B-Day & was wondering if I'd be better off just ordering one from Gooding's foodstore bakery nearby...

Question please-

For the slipper and castle cake, these are ordered through GF bakery and can they be delivered to any restaurant or resort room?

The choc. mickey with dipped strawberries is ordered through your resort and delivered to your room?

Thanks

The slipper and mini-wedding cakes can be ordered through the GF for their restaurants and their guests' staying at the GF.

The slipper can also be ordered for the CRT meal through MK's cake ordering number.

The choc Mickey with dipped strawberries are only available at a few resorts. I know it's available at the GF, BC and Boardwalk for sure. You would call the resort's in-room dining to see if it's available. I got mine at the Boardwalk.

WL is another resort that offers this.

Thanks for the info. I just called AKL in-room dining and she is faxing me a menu. That kinda stinks about the slipper and castle cake as we don't have any GF restaurants on board for this trip.

I just called they put me through to Artist Pallet who said they no longer take orders over the phone :confused3

Just got off the phone with V&A and ordered DD a yellow cake with white chocolate mousse and fresh raspberries with a covering of swirled white and dark chocolate ganache for her 21st b-day. She loves Tinkerbelle so we ordered a Tink soild chocolate cake topper. Now I just have to keep it a secret. :cake:

Blessed Be,
Tina
