Here is the picture of our cake from POP. It is a little blurry but you get the idea of what it looked like.

Do you mind me asking who you ordered it from at POP, how much you paid and would they deliver it to your room? We are celebrating DS's 11th bday at pop in Dec.

thanks

Hi everyone

Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere but I can't really read through both long threads today!

I quite like the idea of getting my Mum a "thank you" cake for her taking me on our Nov trip.

Does anyone know if any of the fillings, frostings / icings are made with raw eggs? I'm not being picky honest - I'm pregnant! and as I am English, I am not sure how American's would make their cakes, so thought its better to be safe and ask!

I was thinking of getting a cake delivered to our room when we get back from MVMCP on our 2nd night? (we have all week to eat it then!)

We're not doing very many TS restaurants on this trip, perhaps Yak and Yeti, Boma one night and Mama Melrose's for lunch.

Thanks for any help / thoughts / advice!

Julie xxx

Hey...I actually figured out how to post a photo!!! This is the birthday cake I ordered at YC for last weekend. Very yummy.

I've been asked for this photo in the past but didn't know how to get it posted...now I do, so here it is...
My dd's 13th birthday cake at Grand Floridian Cafe a few years ago. This cake was huge...fed four of us with about 3/4 of the cake left over. I think it was about $80. They did box it up quite well for the trip home the next day.

IS this the same cake you get at Chef Mickeys? How much was this cake? How was the inside of it? Chocolate or vanilla? Did you get a choice? This is the cake I want to get at Chef Mickeys our last night there but want it to be great!

Hello! I was wondeirng if there are any pics available of cakes from Coronado Springs Resort? I would love a Welcome to Disney Cake for my family for when we arrive. ALso, if you know what options you have for flavours there. DS's birthday party is the weekend before we leave. So cake wise, we might be caked out! Depends on what he choses for a cake. He is turning 4 and he is picking everything out himself. :) Shall be interesting.

I´m planning on ordering 3 birthday cakes for our upcoming trip.

1 for DH at Boma, 1 for DS at the Sci Fi diner (yes, I know it´s dark in there, but he wants to celebrate there) and 1 for DD at the Crystal Palace.

Does anyone have pictures of cakes from these locations or other recommendations? I´m totally lost...

Ok, my options as to where I can get a birthday cake for our DD and DS (only want to spend the money on one cake so I am lost for decorations as she is a princess and he is a total boy)

The Crystal Palace with Winnie The Pooh 1135pm
Hollywood and Vine 11AM
Tusker House Buffet Lunch
Arkershus 1145

Which all seem to have wonderful desserts as it is!

I can also try to get one delivered to our room at Coronao Springs but haven't seen a cake from there yet. I don't like not knowing what we are going to get.

Now, I am trying to get a rez for CRT, 1900 PF, CM, or LTT for Dec 6th (the day we fly in) for dinner time.

OR I can just get a Welcome to Disney World type of cake and have it delivered the night we arrive. Hummmmmm... Anybody out there with CSR pictures??

I have a strange request. Would you mind posting a pic of the cake here? I've blocked signatures until the election is over & would love to see your cake. It does seem that Y&B Club is making the nicest cakes now. I think GF is burned out on making them, & is very hit or miss with more misses than hits lately.

Per your request -

Diane - the cake was absolutely adorable. I hope Mandy liked it even with the allergy.

She did love it....was completely surprised. The cake was incredibly yummy.
I love the birthday cake you have....that Tink on the pillow is gorgeous!!

Glad she was surprised! Tink was awesome - she is frozen right now. I had the hardest time allowing them to cut the cake. He wanted my birthday to be special.....he definately achieved that :thumbsup2

Have a great weekend!!

Has anyone ever gotten a birthday cake at Raglan Road? Even the 6 inch pre-made would be okay.

The nemo and tink cakes came from the Yacht Club bakery? Do they deliver to restaurants at WDW or do you have to pick them up?? What is their price for a cake?? Is there a price list or breakdown?

Those two cakes are PRECIOUS! :goodvibes
