Whew lots to comment on!
As much as I liked Jeff from the beginning, in his own words "he got got" and I hope he goes! And I don't want any "just kidding, you're not going home" crap. Yes he made a power move with the wizard power, but after that he has gotten nasty and made dumb moves IMO. CBS can edit it all they want, but he is a pretty boy with a nasty mouth and a temper and I'm over him!
I concider a floater as someone who has no true alliance. Kevin and Michele had really no one they were totally loyal to and bounced to anyone with power and kissed butt. I respect a player who knows what they want, knows who to get rid of, takes risks in the game, protects their true alliance, and wins sometimes.
But floaters DO have a true alliance, only it's to them self. I respect that a lot more than people who get caught up alliances, loyalties, and friendships and then make stupid decisions.
Michelle has won her fair share of competitions (HOH once and Veto three times) and got called out a few times for playing both sides. And actually I think it's a lot easier to make big plays and risky moves when you've got an alliance to cover your butt....playing both sides can be challenging.
Kevin has been low key up until the last few weeks, but he did his LML magic, got himself off the block, and won HOH this week. Quite the power move if you ask me! Laying low has been the smartest thing he could do. He hasn't had a target on his back and now when he needs to win HOH, he stepped it up.
It seems like so many HG's forget that they are playing to win $500K! They get so wrapped up in their alliances and loyalties and friendships that they make DUMB decisions. That kind of crap just makes me CRAZY!
I think there is more to be said for someone-like Jeff, Russel (even Jessie who I hate)- as a player and make it to the end after EVERYONE wanted them out for weeks rather than Michele, Kevin, or Natalie who have never been a real target.
But these people usually don't make it to the final two, so clearly their strategies don't work so well.
And I wouldn't say everyone has wanted Jeff out for weeks. He's never been nominated and it wasn't till he used the wizard power that people really viewed him as a big threat.
I never got the whole negativity against "floaters" in this game. They usually refer to floaters as people who don't choose one side over the other. To me, anyone who makes it to final 4 deserves to be there. Whether they win comps or not, it takes some skill to not get in the line of fire. If the other HGs underestimated them until it was too late, it is their own dumb fault. Nat is a perfect example of that. Nat's skill was schmoozing with the right people at the right time. Jordan is there cause she is sweet and they overlook her. Kevin wins when he has to and is able to get people to trust him. Michele plays hard, despite being ridiculed in the house. Right now, I am rooting for Kevin or Michele.
ITA!
If you all were guaranteed a spot in the final two, who would you bring and why? I'm having a hard time deciding!
