We are spending one week at the Grand Floridian Villas for Halloween and I just decided to extend my family trip by 3 more nights, hubby and mother go home on a saturday, and i dont work until wednesday, so why not stay in disney with my 1 year old??? We are going to stay 2 nights with family and then head back to disney for 1 more night. I just booked a theme park view at bay lake tower!!! Sounds like the PERFECT end to 10 days in Florida!!! SO EXCITED!

By the way, that pool slide looks so fun, how fast does it go? Would it be something i could ride with my 1 year old on my lap and easily lift her above the water at the end, or would i be flying into the pool at the bottom?

Wonderful pictures! I did not realize there were ground floor apartments on the outside of the tower.
We have submitted an early request to one of the DVC rental agencies for a Standard View Studio for May 2024 and are now waiting for the 11-month booking window to come.
Considering that we won't spend a lot of time in the room, is it worth upgrading the request to a Lake View Studio? Are there any Standard View Studios that are so bad that they might ruin the experience, e.g. staring at an air vent or similar?
