I was at WDW last week and we took a trip on the Skyliner to check out the Art of Animation resort. I have a Nemo suite booked for Aug 23-27 and I wanted to see where the Nemo building was. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Nemo rooms are as close to the Skyliner station as you can get.

I have been focused on my upcoming May trip but thought I would finally update here. There are still some tweaks in the works but as or right now, I'm booked at the Contemporary from August 9 - 14th.

If all goes well I will be adding a day to each end of the trip but we will see how it all works out as we will probably be flying now instead of driving.

Is anyone else with a later August trip planning on going to MNSSHP? I am anxiously awaiting details to decide. I heard they are announcing more about Halloween season today!

If there will be a party on 10/5, then I won't go in August (I will be in Orlando for a cruise on that day only!). I always said I would never ever do MNSSHP in August again after a horrible experience a few years ago when it rained horribly. But the FOMO is real.

Our trip dates are Aug 23-27 and we are thinking about going to a Halloween party. We would probably go on Tuesday, Aug 25th if that is one of the party nights.

Our dates are Aug 15-22 and I'm hoping a party date will fall on our week as well.

The early party dates threw a wrench in our plans....Have to now rework what days we go to MK in order to see fireworks then another morning during a party day to hopefully have lower crowds.

We've only done the halloween party once, in 2023, and our biggest mistake was not understanding that the quick service dinner option I had planned actually closes before the party to reset for being a treat station. We'd spent all day in the park already, enjoying the lower crowds but melting with the heat. I had foolishly planned to sit in air conditioned comfort and rest and eat before the party, only to be turned away when we walked up to order food because they were closing. I was exhausted and overheated at this point and nearly had a breakdown over not getting my planned rest moment. I believe I texted my daughter in a fit saying we would never do the halloween party again (before it had even started!). Eventually we found a place to recharge, I can't remember where, and once the sun went down and the treats were getting shoveled into our treat bags, and the parade.... well I will be buying tickets to go again this summer.

Hoping to snag mash tickets for the 11th. Every other year it’s overlapped we haven’t gone but figured with the money we are saving staying at moderate it would be a nice treat

With Halloween party dates confirmed, I am still torn between Pop (with check in day at Typhoon Lagoon) and Swan (with two Extended Evenings). I am worried they will keep Wednesday Extended Evenings at AK, which we wouldn’t get much out of. Swan location is great, but I am not sure it alone is worth the $500 extra. Good difficulties to have
