Happy trip month everyone, we made it

We're leaving Sunday and have to do our "where in the house are the Fuel Rod" hunts. We have three. I know where one is.

We are 15 days out - what is everyone’s countdown at?

We leave next week, watching the weather in the tropics to decide on when to leave (driving vs flying) and I have my packing box sitting on the floor with various fuel rods, travel sunscreen, Minnie ear scrunchies and the like.
Need to get out the packing cubes and suitcases this weekend. Monday is LL day!

We have 24 days before we check into POR. We are looking forward to our trip. I'm almost ready to bring the Disney box up from the basement. It has lots of handy things like disposable ponchos.

10 days...I'm still hounding my kids to watch a short video so they can help me book LLMP/LLSP on Sunday. I've done no shopping...I feel like I can't focus on anything until I get these LLMP/LLSP done. I did call my credit card company to warn them I'd be making a large number of purchases with a large total amount on Sunday. Hopefully, it doesn't kick me out.

13 days to Universal and 17 days to Disney. So excited!

20 days! My daughter is in several shows from today until Sunday night - once those are over, I will have time to focus on our trip!

1 more day! We arrive on Saturday to Animal Kingdom Lodge. Packing is in the staging phase with piles of stuff all over the place.

We don’t head to Disney until Friday the 9th but we are actually on the road to Florida now . We are spending this coming week in Indian Shores on the gulf coast . We booked our lightning lane passes on the road this morning and pretty happy with what we got. Getting excited!!!!

We leave on Sunday morning. From what I'm seeing, the wind should be 15-25 MPH, so the landing may be a little rough but definitely doable.

We tried to switch to tomorrow. On Delta's website, the evening plane had 4 equivalent seats open. When I tried to book it... $1500 EACH to move to first class. Website was wrong. Yay.

Oh, found another Fuel Rod. I think my little one has the other, but her room is very typical for a 17 year old, and I'm not allowed to touch anything, of course.

I was very happy to see MK opening at 7:30am early entry on the 20th (party day). We are planning to rope drop MK on this day and 7:30am is so much better than 8:30am- less people will get up this extra hour, so hopefully rides are all operating and we can get a lot done! I've already warned my family that we will be up early

I feel the same way about our AK day. It now opens earlier as well so EE is 7:30. I feel like we will be able to knock out both rides in Pandora first thing.

Soon to be tropical storm Debby is causing some extra stress here…her path will dictate whether we drive or fly. Whoever said getting there is half the fun was not traveling during stormy season with kids! Trying to be positive and remind myself this is mercury retrograde telling us to slow down a smidge…

Tomorrow is my day to book LLMP/LLSP. I have completely lost it. I have spreadsheets! I assigned days to hubby and kid 2. I had to re-print and re-assign days because kid 1 has a flat tire and no spare...and my response was, you'll just have to stay there. I can't deal with you until I'm done with this.
