It's coming so fast but taking forever at the same time!! This time in 3 weeks exactly I'll be on the plane headed for Disneyland!! Can't wait!!

Have felt butterflies for a few days now. Even though we have been there a ton lately, I never stop getting them!

Ok - is it just my negative self - or is anyone else stressed out about the PTN going away announcement? I mean - obviously - we will all get to see it, which is good, but they just bumped up the number of guests at the parks now, for all the folks coming in to see it before it goes away. (and I was already stressing about wait times and the plan of action to get all the rides we want in)

Where did you read that they 'bumped up the number of guests allowed in'? Now you are making ME nervous as we are there the last week of August, seeing PTN literally one of the last times they will have it.

I don't mean they are bumping up the number allowed in - just that people that maybe weren't planning to go before, now will be making sure to get there before the parade goes away. Therefore bumping up the number of guests in the park this last few weeks.

If you are not watching the parades would it be a good time to hit some rides though? Of course you'll kinda be stuck on either one side of Main Street or the other correct.

Ah, gotcha. I agree, I think crowds will definitely increase as August goes on.

Yes! We are not big parade-watchers, but I'm dying to see PTN (we missed it when we were there last October). Otherwise we'd be in line for rides. In 2013 we managed to ride POTC 4-5 times back to back while Fantasmic was on! lol

PTN is awesome. But to get the best seats you have to save them 3 hours or so before. We got a seat last month pretty close to IASW and It was AWESOME. But we sat there for about 3 hours. Well I did. Hahaha. It might get worse because some of the locals will come just for the show. So it does have the potential to be a lot busier with it ending.

We're doing the Aladdin On the Go Dining package, so we get tickets for priority seating (which I think is by IASW). Otherwise, yeah, fabulous parade or not, I'm not wasting 3 hours of park time to find a seat!

On the other hand, if it's locals wanting to come see PTN the blackout dates still exist. And they don't always spend the entire day at the park.

My husband and oldest daughter LOVE this ride and this was going to be their last chance to ride it before it changes to GotG. I'm so disappointed for them

August 28th - Sept 1 51st Birthday trip. DH says we're too old, and no kids anymore, but it's my birthday, so I can do what I want.

Wow, we arrive on the 28th and I wasn't going to go to the parks until the 29th. May have to upgrade our passes to 4days from 3 and go on Sunday night. This is one of my favourite rides. Very disappointed that they are changing it.
