Hello from your absentee thread hostess!

We are all getting so close to our trips!!!

DH pulled the suitcases out of the basement yesterday - 26 more days to go!!!

I am firmly planted in the 2nd trimester now and feeling LOADS better and so ready to eat all of that delicious Disney food!!!

We found out that we are having a boy!!!! (We currently have 2 girls) So, that news has made this surprise pregnancy even more amazing!!!

Great news! Baby brother for big sisters. What fun. Also glad to hear you are feeling better.

Haven't started packing yet. Almost 28 days to go. Just got back from another week-end trip, so not in any real packing mood yet.

Scrap - hope all is well and you got home after hearing about such a bad accident. At least school is now over.

We drive out in 23 days, 18 hours and change, but I'm not counting

Just took the DS out to the park at our apartment, and had him try on his new harness (he always wants to walk/run, and refuses to hold hands). He likes this one a lot, as it's just a harness and not a packpack thing (he HATED them), so I think he's good to go. Just have him wear it whenever we go out, sans 'leash', and it won't be an issue at Disneyworld. Also, after that I put him in the stroller and we walked a full 5K! Non-stop! First time I've done that in 10 years! Great way to practice for Disney, especially in this heat.

Thrilled I found this group so I can join in with others who are feeling that pre-Disney excitement with me. 15 days!

I'm sure I'm not the only one whose begun playing the game, "This time two weeks from now, we'll be eating/riding/doing this in WDW," right?

I looked at my roommate around 2 PM today and said "This time two weeks from now we'll be in the Magic Kingdom" and she cheered then pouted.

First set of Magic Bands and the kids autograph books arrived yesterday. I made FP reservations for DH at Be Our Guest this morning, and got the notification that our second set of bands shipped today! The final pieces are all falling into place.

I've just got home, and the Regional Schools Commissioner never made it as there was a terrible road accident on the roundabout near to our school, so they got caught up in the traffic. Unfortunately a lot of the kids are still stuck because the school buses can't get through to take them home. The main road towards the school has been completely closed in in one direction. They told most staff to go home at the normal time as we were able to go in the other direction, but as rush hour goes on that could become blocked too.

Oh my gosh, that is crazy!! Roundabouts are the worst-we don't have them in my state, but they're all around us, and I hate them.

We're all getting so close! Remember when our counts were in the hundreds???

I have to share that I've created a mini-Disney monster. My daughter is 2, and has just caught on that we're going. She is asking ALL the time if it's time to go to Disney World. I decided to count yesterday-she asked 12 times. The other day we were leaving a friend's house and I said, "Time to go!" and she said, "We go to Disney World?" At least she's finally almost as excited as I am Now I get why people surprise their kids with trips!

YES!!! CONSTANTLY!!!!! It makes me so excited to know I'm not the only one doing that I drive my DH crazy...

Were at 32 days!! My guy has started to tell me everyday that he's getting really excited for Disney. He loves going but really doesn't get as giddy about it as I do until he's there. This is the first time that before hand he's really started to count down He's going to be turning 30, so I think he's glad we aren't doing something that will make him feel "old" for his birthday

woohoo! 6 more days! . DH and I packed most of our clothes last night. Just need to Add the toiletries and my shoes. Today I am going to work on packing the kid's clothes. Then this week to get ready we have haircuts, the dentist, a manicure and pedicure appointment for me goodvibes). And then some last minute shopping to get done.
