my DD and i are going in August. Does anyone know if at the waterparks if the adult isn't going to participate, do they still have to pay full ticket price? I have a medical condition and can't do water rides.

In order to enter the park at all you need to pay the full price of admission. I do not believe they would make an exception for medical reasons. Maybe give Guest Services a call? Or perhaps talk with concierge when you check into your resort!

I cannot wait for my Mickey Mail to arrive! I am seriously counting down the minutes until we get to go!

In an effort to see all of the new frozen attractions I've changed an Epcot day to another DHS day. That day I had an ADR for Chefs De France. This was the one ADR I was looking forward to. I'm thinking it might be difficult to make it (5:40 PM) being that we will be at DHS. Now I'm considering canceling it :sad2: and making an ADR at 50's Prime Time. However the only times available at 50's right now are 4:20 and 7:50.. ugh. So confused.. any thoughts?

Are you staying at DHS for the fireworks? If not try to push Chefs De France back? Or just take the boat to BW then walk to EP have dinner then return to DHS

Has anyone been able to book FP for BOG lunch yet? Just wondering if it's still only through July or if August is starting to open up. Thanks!

I don't know if this helps but we've done it using our DDP which gets you CAT 3, but the last time we did it we paid out of pocket for category 1 (main floor) seating. This really, REALLY improved our experience! We sat super close to the stage and had a lot of interaction... I even got picked to be the can can dancer! Wouldn't do it any other way from now on!

Thanks, and thanks bellebookworm9, too (I still can't figure out how to multi-quote lol). This is our first trip w/o the dining plan in years, so I think if I can get it we'll just go w/ cat. 1. Cat. 2 doesn't look bad either :), but I think I'll definitely stay away from 3.

Yup, my suggestion would be to just leave for a bit for dinner and then come back (assuming you have hoppers, of course). If you're planning on this day just for the Frozen events, I don't think you'd have too much trouble leaving for a few hours to keep this ADR.

Nope, been trying but nothing's open. Although that website still has my original trip dates (August 3-9, rather than 13-19).

We chose Cat. 1 for December; the price difference for three of us was $15 total, as opposed to Cat. 2-with my friend's 50% CM discount, it will be even less. Hoping for a stageside table, since I booked on the first possible day.

Anjalee6: A few changes to our ADRs:

7/27 - BoG lunch 1:10-1:40 arrival window
7/28 - moved 1900 Park Fare. Now doing 50s Prime Time Café at 2:00
8/9 - this is where we moved 1900 Park Fare - 7:05 pm

I don't think I ever sent you our park plans. Here goes:

7/27 - MK
7/28 - DHS
7/29 - EP
7/30 - AK (am) / EP (pm)
7/31 - golf (am) / MK (pm)

8/4 - AK
8/5 - BB (am) / DHS (pm)
8/6 - FG (am) / MK (pm)

Today puts me at at three weeks to arrival day! :cool1:

This will be our last full day of vacation so I really wanted to end by watching the frozen firework show. We do have hoppers so leaving and returning is possible. just wasn't sure how long that would take. Thanks for the suggestion

It seems nearly official now! I'll be down there from August 25th-30th, staying with my friends at their apartment!

It'll be my second time back home at WDW since finishing my College Program at the beginning of January. I spent 7 incredible months working at the Most Magical Place on Earth and I miss it every day.

During my time working at WDW I called both Epcot and Animal Kingdom Lodge home, and I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have whether they're about the parks, resorts, dining or those fun magic bands. (I worked very closely with them from their debut at AKL in June of 2013.) :goodvibes

ME luggage tags are in hand! We booked the Frozen premium package for August 14 too! We did the SWW premium package and thought it was a great time! The dessert party was 100 times better than Wishes! 33 days to go. Magicbands will be on their way this week. It's all falling into place!

Sorry -- that last one should be 8/8, not 8/9...

Heathsf I've been waiting 3 years too. Feels like forever!!

I have to read up more on this Frozen stuff. I really can't spend any more money on extras, so I hope there's some good stuff you don't have to pay for at HS.

I did end up booking a morning ADR for CP, but could only get 915. I may cancel, because there seems to be no definitive answer on whether or not we'd be let in early. Not sure I want to spend the money if not...

I am pretty sure if you show your ADR they will let you in:thumbsup2

yep, they have a list and will let you in. We have a 8:15am time, that I was thrilled to get the other day, and we will be entering the park around 8am. Believe me, you won't be the only one with early breakfast times.

We haven't had a QOTD in a while. Its a rainy Monday here, so I'll break the boredom and toss one out:

How far in advance of your departure date do you get your luggage out?

Do you pack little by little, or in a mad panic right before you leave?

What is the strangest item that goes into your suitcase?

Finished shopping for our trip yesterday!! I generally love shopping (no surprise there lol) but shopping for this trip has been such an adrenaline rush, even if it's just picking up a pack of water bottles, it's exciting!! :cool1:

We got our luggage tags on the 30th of last month and we're supposed to get our Magic Bands on Wednesday, which also happens to be our baby's 1st birthday so it's one more thing to be excited about that day :rotfl:

We're surprising our girls though, they have NO clue we're going so it's been really hard keeping this all a secret and all our excitement to ourselves....just a few more days!!! pixiedust:

Usually I start packing 2 weeks before, may sound extreme but I find myself overpacking so packing that far in advance gives me time to realize how much I really don't need and take it out before it becomes a problem lol This time though, since we're trying to keep the whole thing as a surprise from our girls, I'll be packing maybe 3-4 days before, we're going to tell the girls we're going to visit my sister for dd's birthday, hopefully all the Minnie and princess shirts aren't a huge give away :scratchin lol

I usually pack little by little, I make a list before and just scratch things off as I go. We leave toiletries and essentials out until the very last minute though.

Don't think we're taking anything weird, tons of baby stuff though, probably a little more than we'll need....you'd think by the 3rd kid I'd have this whole packing-for-a-big-trip thing down to a T :rolleyes2 lol

Getting our kids luggage out today! My step kids aren't with us all the times so its easier to start packing them early!

I pack slowly, at least in that I'm "packing" things I know I'll need or I'm only buying for Disney specifically that go into a bag that I leave in the corner of my room.

I'll get my suitcase out next week and I'll start packing things I'll definitely only be using in Disney (specific shirts and such) but then I'll pack on the big necessities a couple days before so I can make sure I have everything.

We usually get the luggage out the day before. Not quite a mad panic, a controlled one though.

strangest thing??? tape and scissors? I think we just back the normal stuff. Plus, we'll have a rental car, so no need to pack the whole kitchen sink.

Wahoo, in the 40's now!!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
