We really enjoyed AoA when we stayed. Our children would enjoy staying there for the rooms and food again, however they're disappointed by the small (aimed at small children) playground compared to other resorts. The extra space in the suite is really nice though and well worth the switch IMO.

We stayed at Jambo last trip and loved it, we spent a fair amount of time at the kidani pool. Enjoy your trip!

We're booked at a 2BR at BCV on 8/23 to 8/31 and haven't been able to secure any of the special offers out there (have partial trip reward thru DHs company so have to use TA). I'm wondering if this week is going to busier than we're used to. We've gone this same week jn 2008, 2010 and 2012 and found crowds manageable. I've been scouring website daily to find availability for room discounts but assuming they won't appear at this point. Anyone have any insights to crowds this week?

So.... my task, over the next 140-ish days, is to find water shoes in a men's 14 or 15 that won't break the bank. DH has incredibly large feet which are sooooo difficult to fit. I was hoping to pick up a pair here at home but our area just doesn't carry sizes that large. Saw some on the swim outlet's online store but none ship to Canada (d'oh!! ) . Good thing I have a while to track a pair down!!

Dh is also a 14 foot. I think your husband is the only other person I've ever heard of with feet as big as dh!! So I know how hard it is. Let me see what I can find out

My husband is a 15-16 and was able to find a pair online. Can't remember what site, but I'll try to remember to ask him when he gets home

RATS I think you are right!! The secret is out! The same thing happened to the beginning of November! We used to go Jersey week every other year in the 80's and 90's then it got way too crowded! Now it's gonna happen to the end of August too! I miss the old days of no crowds
