Got $265/pp round trip (non stop) for a total of $1060 for the four of us.

I am really bummed out. We had to cancel our August trip due to circumstances beyond our control. In 20 days, we are going to book our room-only reservation for August 2015. Oh well, another year and a half before we get back to Disney. It will be hard going through another winter before we get to enjoy the sunny Florida weather. Thanks for the great posts and planning ideas. I imagine planning in another year will be a much different experience with the changes in FP+ and My Disney Experience. Hopefully it will be fully implemented by then. I will be back again in another six months to start the planning process all over again.

I booked my flights, but I'm not thrilled with them. I always book nonstop. No one in my group really likes to fly, so we just want to get it over. Prices were fine I suppose; I had enough points to cover. But we're leaving at 6:45 am (the next choice had us getting there around 5 pm) . I'd like to get that somewhere around 8-10 if they change flights. Returning was a 11 am flight. Uugh, I hate that. The one I wanted to book in the evening was already sold out. I'd like to push that back to anything else that might come up; I don't want to board DME at 8 am. So I booked two one way flights so it's easier to adjust separately. Total bill was $120! I book early bird because the stress of not checking in at the 24 hr mark is totally worth it to me. I can never connect on their mobile site or app. I just see a screen with a spinnie thing. Hope everyone had better luck than I did getting the times they want!

With a huge hope for great discounts on rentals DH says we will service our own if we don't find a good deal yet I would prefer to keep the miles off our personal vehicles. Happy Dance for all those getting their flights scheduled

Where did you find flights for 120?!

I have points to cover the airfare, so the $120 was for the fees, taxes and the early bird add-on for Southwest (4 people). I've been saving up points for about 5 years.


Now I'm glad I booked what I did (for now). My 11 am flight is now sold out; the only non-stop remaining that day is 8:30 am..

I am so sorry. I was worried about price changes as I was booking, too. I couldn't remember if DH had a middle initial on his driving license, so I had to call him. Luckily he was at a red light and could check. He didn't know either without checking...

I was surprised by the times and some of the prices, now I'm trying to tweak my travel dates, but I'm struggling to decide whether to book now or wait and hope for prices to go on sale (and risk them going even higher or selling out)

Prices were a little higher than I expected and they changed the times of the nonstops since last year. I have chosen not to book yet in hopes that they may have a sale. Has anyone heard if they will do a sale like they did last year? Fares went as low as $59 each way last summer. I don't expect that, but it would be nice.

Wow I'm surprised to see "sold out" flights already from my area!!! And why is it that the price on the same flight changes if I search 1 adult or 5 adults? $188 when i search for 1 adult or $225 for 5? I don't get it?!?!?

I was just coming on here to post about that. The flight I was wanting to look at for Aug 13th (8am) is sold out already...what??????

Did not book with SW, no non-stops and not great prices...at least not great enough to make me consider a non-stop.

Well, I was so excited to be able to book SW, then I saw the prices. Umm, I paid less when I went to CA last year. Oh my. I may be looking at other lines if SW doesn't lower prices. And, not as many nonstops also has me bummed.

Oh well, with a high of 21 and a low of 6 tonight, with snow this morning, I keep waiting for the hot to complain about.

Oh, and in the clearance rack at Target, they had minnie HB signs, and paper goods. Wahoo! I can decorate the room for DD's bday by myself. Yep, we are celebrating DD"s 13th birthday while on vacation. She's my late August baby, and then I will have to say I have 2 teens.
