OK, so you guys got me motivated to set up my MagicBands

Question: if you could pick out 12 bands, would you make sure you got one of every color including grey? In typical fashion being the mom I let everyone else pick first. Which means one of mine would be grey if I did it this way. Here's how it works out so far:

BWV. VWL. AKV.
DH. Orange green blue
DS green. Orange yellow
DD pink. Yellow. Red
ME. Yellow Blue. Grey

I'm thinking of switching grey out to pink... Any opinions?

Haha I would never be able to keep track of whose bands and which days. One color per trip per person. Although I guess that gets confusing for which bands for which days/resorts in your case. I say go Pink!

I just added meal plan for the first time! Now for the do I add memory maker or not torture!?

My kids are awful with pictures- we were lucky to get any half way decent ones last year.

We do the castle shot, of course, but we also try to make it to the back of the Contemporary for the metal Mickey head. This past trip I decided to take a photo of the boys by the cigar store Indian on Main Street. I hope to continue that photo because it will be fun to see the boys grow throughout the years...just wish we had started this one years ago

Awesome question!!!

I have to say no, since we tend to do something different on each trip (a different mix of parks and attractions) meaning we don't get to the same place on a regular basis.

That said, we *do* try and get a good family photo (or two, or three, or 10 ) on each trip, whether it be via Disney's Photopass, a resort photo session, or something else (we had our pics done at Studio One to One at the Florida Mall in August 2012....my favourite family shots, ever).

My husband makes us stop for photos every 10 feet. No lie. Every spot is special to him.

We always take a family photo at Tusker House each trip as well as in the same spot at AKL since we have stayed there our last 5 years in a row.

Thanks for your thoughts on the MB colors. I was going to have everyone choose one color, but DH and DS both wanted green. So I figured why not. I wish there was purple, too. I wear a lot of green, brown, peach, purple. I don't wear pink too much, but it is cute for the bands. I've been looking at a thread showing how people have decorated their bands over in theme park communities or something like that. I thought I could maybe add purple somehow to the grey band. Oh well, I can still decide ...

For photos, I'm the crazy camera person in our family. We usually get all the typical PP spots too. I think my favorite is in Epcot on the bridge with France in the background. I always get a photo of my kids in those "stocks" in Liberty Square. We usually get at least one ride photo, too.

I can't get the app to work today. It's a pain typing this in a browser. LOL!

I'm a former Disbride (2007, luv4mylittleones) and it was a dream come true but sadly my Prince Charming turned out to be a FROG! Nevertheless....I have moved on, remarried, and ready to bring my new spouse to The World!! The kids (9,13,15) are all big enough to ride everything now and I plan to make this a trip none of them will forget!! We are celebrating my graduation from Nursing School and my son's 16th birthday and I can't wait!! I haven't booked yet but we are definitely staying 8/9-8/16 at either AoA Cars or AsMu Family Suite (Even though I'm dying to stay at BC). Either way, I should be booking this week! I look forward to scouring this thread from top to bottom and getting to know all of you!

Thanks! I'm fairly certainly that's where we will be staying too! The kids really have their hearts set on it which totally surprised me since that means the boys will have to share a bed. But the more I look at the pictures, the more convinced I am that Radiator Springs is the place for us!! maybe we'll see you there!!!

Thanks! So much has changed since I last went 4 years ago....which is kind of crazy since it seemed very little had changed since my first visit in 1995! This whole magic band/fast pass + is blowing my mind and has me a bit perplexed, lol! Just when I had my whole FP "system" down....I'm not big on change. LOL!!
