What a morning!! Couldn't sleep because I kept dreaming that I was making adrs then woke up because I thought I overslept..

Anyway, finally was up at 5:35. Thought it would be smart to grab the girls iPads and my PC with my phone and download the mde app on everything.

Ok.. It's 6am!! Time to make adrs!!! I go to make my first adr. And I got nada!! Nothing, zip!!

Looking for crystal palace at 8am. And the only one I saw was 9:50!! 9:50 wasn't going to do.. It's my first ADR and we always go to magic kingdom before it opens.. Heavy hearted I look at my schedule and now scramble to see how I'm going to change my park and ADR plans.. It's 6:30 now I'm sweating. I decide on Ohana and figure I will just go to mk at rope drop . I go to make aug 9th. And you guessed it nada, nothing zip.. I can't even make any adrs. While doing my research before I realize that this happens with the app. I tried on one iPad, nothing the second iPad, nada, my phone, zip.. Then......... I Go to my laptop typed in august 9th and you guessed it!!! Pixie dust!!! I was able to make my dinner ADR.!!! I was so excited... Now I thought to myself while the pixie dust was flowing I should try again for crystal palace... And..... I got my 8am adr for crystal palace!!!! Could it be?? A magical vacation, would I get all my adrs??? And I DID!! Got all the times I wanted and even Be Our Guest!! I couldn't believe it!! My plans were back!! It was close to 7am when I was all booked up!! I even went back to sleep.. Mind you I did all of this in the dark.. I was having a sleepover in the basement with my daughters.. Lol but we all know a mom has to do what a mom has to do!! Will post my adrs in a bit.. I want to stare at them with joy some more...

OMG OMG its my turn! Get to make my ADRs tomorrow ! I have everything written out and I am just really hoping that everything works correctly (mostly MDE!) I will be on at 6 and hope everything works because if I have to call at 7 I will be late for work! LOL! And I am very specific in what I want so please...send me some pixie dust

I had an issue today with mde. If it doesn't work go thru the normal website thru your PC. It didn't work till about 6:39 don't give up!! I was done with all my adrs by 7am

No special outfits for me or DH....I am getting all target/champion sweat proof shirts bc August heat is disgusting- the days I wore regular clothes were gross. I like to have Disney shirts for the kids though. Last year they had Sophia and Jake for HS day and fab 5 characters for MK days. Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Thanks! I am going to do it straight on my computer. I'm much more comfortable on there than on my phone. I guess we'll see!

Last August we stayed at Pop for 13 days and we did not have any ADR's. It was great and we really don't miss them when we don't book them.

Hope you are able to get everything g you want. I got on right at 6 and made all my ADRs by 6:30 am. It didn't take me long, but I didn't experience any issues with it. Good luck!

We didn't have the dining plan last August and found we had so much freedom, we're trying to alternate between morning, lunch and dinners so we still find the freedom.

MK: none - we usually resort hop to poly or 1900 PK faire- we didn't like BOG food much.
EPCOT: Teppan Edo
DHS: none (used to be 50's prime time but wasn't impressed last aug)
AK: none - though we're trying Tusker house this time so maybe lol
Resort: O'hana or 1900 PK faire
DTD: Raglan Rd

This year we're trying some new ones - mama melrose, Tusker house and Le Cellier and Beirgarten hoping to find some new favorites. We'll also do Sci if dine in, 1900 PK faire and Raglan Rd.

I really need motivation to get on the treadmill, all that food is gonna kill me lol.
