You are AWESOME!!!!....I really needed to see that. I am crossing my fingers and praying that it stays at that course (however I feel sorry for those living or going on the Gulf side of the state). Now I can coast through these last few days with ease, except that I still have to pack .

I can only imagine how stressed you must have been. I have a trip in about two weeks and so I've been stalking weather websites wondering what it'll be like. When I saw Isaac I felt terrible for anyone headed to WDW in the immediate future, but then I also saw the projection above on the weather site and thought, ya know, Disney World deserves to be completely excluded in that mess.

Ah, the magic of Disney. Cheers to an amazing, stress-free time!

We've been at POR since Tues. & until late yesterday didn't know about storm. Family staying offsite asked what we would do if we can't fly out on 8/28. We thought they were crazy until they told us the weather. First I cried, then I panicked, & then I said" I'm at Disney, I'll worry Monday when I need to print boarding passes!

We are going to be fine. Isaac seems to be drifting more and more to the west with every passing moment. Fact is, the remnants of Isaac are needed where it's headed now. Maybe those poor farmers will be able to save their farms once the rain soaks them. A category 1 shouldn't pose too much of a threat to the seaboard either so let's hope for little to no damage for those in Alabama and Louisiana.

I guess I should stop stalking the weather sites and start packing now huh? Last day of work today! 4 more days until we leave!

Leaving PHL in T minus 8 hours!! Disney is finally here!! So ready!!

We've been at POR since Tues. & until late yesterday didn't know about storm. Family staying offsite asked what we would do if we can't fly out on 8/28. We thought they were crazy until they told us the weather. First I cried, then I panicked, & then I said" I'm at Disney, I'll worry Monday when I need to print boarding passes!

Looks like the track has changed? Yeah! We were the for TS Faye a few years back. We were flying SW and they changed our flights, since they cancelled all flights at least 1 day prior. DH was just concerned because he did not pack enough medicine, but we made it! The day of the storm, MK was a ghost town! We just threw on our ponchos and went for it!

Printed our boarding passes! 22 hours till our flight!

DD took the last link of her countdown chain down this morning. I feel bad for her daycare lady because I don't think she's going to be able to sit still all day!

Laundry's done for the trip. Just washing sheets/comforters now. My mom is staying at our house with the dogs and she's allergic to them, so I want to make sure the bedding is hair-free for her. Then after everyone does their showers tonight, I'll wash the towels. House is halfway clean. I want to get it all clean before I pack. Packing is fun for me (it's a sickness, I know), so it's like I'm making myself clean the house before I get my "reward" of being able to pack

First, for the boarding pass. Have a safe flight.

Back to packing and cleaning, I almost 95% pack. The house in the other hand is NOT near ready. I like to pack before I clean. Since I always seem to make a mess while I clean. I obsessed with packing too. Sometime I pack like 5 times , pack unpack pack unpack. Now you know where the mess from.

With Issac I might have to spend 2 nights in Orlando before our check in. Still up in the air with DH works schedule. We want to fly out Saturday around noon but they might need him to hold over. So, we wont know until tonight.
I was planning to surprise the kids but with DH works and straight to board the plane, I dont think I can manage to control their craziness if they found out they are leaving to DIsney NOW.

Back to Issac, look like August Disers already there will be fine. I think just only the people flying on Monday/Tuesday might have problem with their flights. so for those still need to get there.

That sounds like me. I promised myself I would get the packing done for the move 80% complete before I could pack for Disney. DH will have to finish the move without my help so I figured I would try to get as much done for him as possible before we leave since I stay at the new place and start my new job after vacation.

Welcome back and I am glad to hear you had a great trip . Sorry that you had to deal with lots of rain, however, a rainy day in Disney is better then being at home and no rain. Have fun planning out your next trip.

We are leaving Tuesday which I'm actually very happy about. By Tuesday the storm should be making landfall in the panhandle and we should be good to go.

We're still here, I have just been really busy today...had to work today and then was doing some laundry and cleaning my house. That is so funny that you are flying out of ORD on Tuesday night because we fly out of ORD on Tuesday morning at 9:03am we will be landing in MCO at 12:30pm. Talk about a small world .
