Today is the day!!!

I couldn't sleep any longer so I am up now. I have to do the floors today, get to the bank, finish the last few things and we leave this afternoon.
I wish I knew a little more about the weather but I am determined to enjoy this trip!

Yay! Have a great trip! Hope to see you guys down there. I decided today I will get my packing done, clean up the house and do anything I can to get my mind off Issac and DH.

Hello everyone, I have been seeing a lot of talk and anxiety about Isaac for the last of us August travelers. I am getting married this Saturday then flying to Orlando on Monday for our honeymoon. I am trying NOT to worry that Isaac may be landing the same time that we are. Coming from Phoenix, we sometimes go 8 months before even seeing a drop from the sky, so this will be interesting! I'm going to TRY to stop looking at the weather reports and pray that everyone is safe and having a blast whether we are being poured on or not!

Congrats! I wish you guys a wonderful honeymoon. Do not forget to tell the agents at the check in counter and gate that you are newly wed and on your way to your honeymoon. You might got a little pixxie dust on your flight! (I liked to upgrade my newly wed on my flight)

We have 5 days and still have a lot of things left to do. Have to tell you how excited yesterday, I was talking to someone at work and happen to say that we are leaving for Disney on Tuesday....I had to stop and smile because it is getting so close, I love saying it like that . I am going to try my darndest to NOT watch or read about Isaac today. I kind of stressed myself out last night watching videos of it. DH keeps telling me we are fine and we WILL get there no matter what....not sure exactly what that means . Anyways, I hope that all of you that are going down today or within the next couple of days have safe journeys and Magical trips .

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials and have a wonderful time on your Disneymoon . Make sure you let a CM know that it is your Disneymoon so you can get "Just Married" buttons to where throughout your trip .

We leave home Saturday morning, and arrive in Orlando on Sunday. I look forward to reading about each of your travels once we all return!

We are leaving for Detroit in a couple of hours! This is the only part of the trip I have not planned (all my dad so worried). We fly out to Orlando tomorrow and Saturday morning arriving in Disney. Happy Trip to everyone heading down soon and wish you a magical vacation (and hopefully Isaac and his little friend dont wreak any havoc).

I just spent $60 on nice(r) rain gear for the boys and myself and adjusted my packing list to include DD's nice raincoat and boots, which will take up considerably more space than her teeny poncho. So I figure that pretty much seals the fate that it's going to be sunny and 80 all next week and my freaking out was for naught.

(I can dream, right?)

ETA: Look at that ticker! Mickey's almost to the end! 2 more days!

We fly out at 6 am tomorrow! I'm trying very hard not to let Isaac dampen my magic! I'm packing my rain gear and away I go!

I just did the same thing. Spend some good $$$ on the rain stuff... I got a rain cover for my double stroller
I didnt buy any boots but I did got the kids clogs and sandals. Got DH and I 2 pair of Teva. We are leaving on Sunday now.

I already had a stroller cover that I got for, I think, $12 at Babies R Us. We've tested it a couple times at Valleyfair and the zoo in the rain and it works SO much better than trying to pin or tie a poncho over the stroller. I think you'll be happy with that purchase!

I'm keeping the rain gear receipts so I can return them if we don't end up needing them

Good new August travelers looks like the storm is slowly moving more and more west!! Not out of the woods yet but looking much better!! Just printed boarding passes for tomorrow Mickey here we come!!

I already had a stroller cover that I got for, I think, $12 at Babies R Us. We've tested it a couple times at Valleyfair and the zoo in the rain and it works SO much better than trying to pin or tie a poncho over the stroller. I think you'll be happy with that purchase!
