Tomorrow's my big day... lab test! It's the deciding factor to a really happy week or a REALLY bad one!!

I'm an uber-organizer and I haven't brought myself to actually start the packing process. Hope once tomorrow occurs, it'll change!

We are at the Beach Club (and the wifi here is working great)!!! Our room is so nice AND we have a view of Spaceship Earth!

Had a great day so far. Went to DTD and has our first dismeat! We met Karin (aka dizneat) and her brother Tom. We went on the same cruise last year. It was great to meet them again!

Our ADR for Cape May is at 6:20 so we still have a while. Then it's off to MK!

I have to started to pack!!!!! Now the details. I really don't like Disney coffee so this year I am bringing my own. If I remember right the coffe in the rooms are in filters. Where can I buy small filters that fit!???

I did read about people buying the smaller basket filters then cutting off some of the top so they fit I'm not sure if this is still works with the new coffee makers. Another option is to bring the Starbucks Via coffee singles and running a cup threw without the teabag of coffee in it so all you get is hot water brewing into your cup.

Can you believe that I am busy rearranging my schedule? We just found out at 10:30 tonight that our friends decided to take 1 day of their non-Disney visit to Orlando to do Epcot. Our kids want to do Perry's Adventure together on Sunday. We were going to start our trip on Tuesday with that, but now we will wait til Sunday....not a big deal until I looked at my schedule. That would give us 2 EPCOT days since I was able to get Le Cellier on Saturday...hate to cancel that! We don't want to spend that much time in Epcot. We also would not have an MK rope drop day. Time to do some thinking! Do I want to cancel Le Cellier?
My biggest frustration? The Disney website is not letting me access my adrs online so I can cancel what we don't need. I actually sent an e-mail about the issues I have had tonight and on so many other occasions with their site.

Here's our schedule:
Tuesday: Land at 12:45, get rental car, settle in at hotel then ????????
Wed: AK at rope drop, Ohana for dinner at 6:40
Thurs: Sea World
Fri: Here is where I am torn. It is an evening EMH. I want to stay as late as we can. I was going to have us sleep in, got to Ohana for 10:50 adr, head to park, get boys haircuts at 1 pm, head back to resort to rest, then head back to MK at 7 or so for evening EMH.
I think I need to cancel Ohana so we can do rope drop, head home after Harmony Barbershop, then head back???? We made adrs at Tonys for dinner just in case.
Sat: Sleep in, Le Cellier at 11:30 for lunch, mid day...?????? Dinner at Hoop De Doo Revue
Sun: Epcot, Agent P, lunch with friends at Via Napoli
Mon: DHS day, H&V character lunch

Why can't I just relax? We are going back in December and February? I need to chill out for this trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just found this thread and think its great that so many of you talk, chit chat, exchange ideas and that ALL of you will be at WDW in August! We are "springing" our trip on our kids in 8 days...can't wait. I will keep my eye open for the lime green tags We are staying at POR. WOO HOO!

Oh no let me explain. Last year we went via Chicago we went through customs in Winnipeg (on the way to Orlando and the way back). This year we are going via Toronto so we will be going through customs in Toronto. So when we get off the plane in TO we will have to get our luggage then go through customs. You will only have to through customs in Winnipeg. Also, just to let you know ME still considers it an international flight ever though your first stop is in Minneapolis, so you have be at the airport earlier and won't be able to check your luggage at your resort. You can only do this if you are staying at least one night in a US city.

I bought ponchos at Dollerama and Giant Tiger last year. The ones from Dollerama we're complete crap and ripped in no time. The ones from Giant Tiger were perfect they were not to heavy and did not rip at all plus they were white with red maple leaves all over them so we looked like true Canadians. This year the ones that Giant Tiger has have a different pattern of maple leaves on them so they are a bit different but the quality looks the same. I guess I won't find out if they are the same as last years until I get their and it rains. Anywho this year I'm bringing a bunch of Giant Tiger ones.

Ya i figured it was because you were still in canada. That is what i meant.

I knew we could not check luggage at hotel, but that is ok, we have a rental car.

The ones i got from dollerama for our summer concerts (dauphin countryfest & craven jamboree) are white with maple leafs on them & hoods. I still have them, i think i threw away only 1 or 2 out of all the ones i have used.

We are not driving into the city, my cousin is driving my car so we won't get to giant tiger

6 DAYS!!!!! Cannot wait! now to go work on my to-do list, i have 1 hour and 45 minutes before i head to work to start interviewing for 2 managment positions. I know all the candidates since it is internal promotions so that akes it easier. Now off to CLEAN!!! Hate coming back from vaction to a messy house! I want it spotless on take off.

Good Morning everyone!
10 days until the trip, but 3 more days until online check in (if we choose to do that) because Universal is first on this trip.

Starting the packing went well this weekend. I got a jump on all of the things that can be packed now. I am thinking for an 11 day trip we'll do a total of 7 outfits each and do laundry once or twice.
I know laundry on vacation sounds wretched but it really isn't. We pop it in and go to the pool, and I get out to check on it. When it's done we all fold it together in 5 minutes. This way I don't have to pack so much. Apparently the cabins are low on storage space. I am a bit of a neat freak on vacation. I have to keep the space tidy because it's small and there's 5 of us and a mess would drive me nuts.
So.. all this to say, if we just bring 7 outfits and do laundry there will be stuff lying around. I usually way overpack but I have been trying to cut it down on the last few trips.

All moved in finally and now I am ready to start stressin over the trip-nothings packed!! So tonight after work, Im going over my packing list and figuring out what I still need. I have a week to get it together, but since this isnt my first Disney rodeo, I feel pretty confident that I wont forget anything major.

I cant believe a week from RIGHT NOW-I'll be on the plane!!
