Cupcakes and Mickey ice cream bars!

Cupcakes and Mickey ice cream bars!

Love Mickey Ice Cream bars- will def have one! Is there a specfic cupcake you like? I haven't been to WDW in almost two years, so this seems to be new to me. Any recommendations welcome!

Dole whip, school bread from Norway, and popcorn! There is something about Disney popcorn!!

We just hit up Dairy Queen and my husband had a Hawaiian blizzard (pineapple and ice cream)...I asked him if he was just prepping for his Dole Whip! I am def trying school bread, heard it was delish and I have never had it!

Thinking of doing a couple name fills for me and Ian. I want to decorate our window there and seeing everyone's shirts etc... has my creativity is going. Only thing I'm good at though is computer related :lmao: Wish I had picked up extra printer ink while I was out earlier! :rotfl:

Dole whips of course. I love Starring Rolls cupcakes but in the heat I don't know how good they will sound. I think I'll be less hungry in general in the Florida heat and humidity. Gotta remember, I'm from Seattle. Today was the warmest it's been at my house in nearly two years and we just hit 82.

If I'm being completely honest, I'm looking forward to the adult drinks more than the desserts. I've complied a list, I'm plugging it into my iPhone to give me reminders of what to try where.

ohmigosh same here about the heat! We're usually pretty comfortable because of lake Erie but we hit 92 here today and tomorrow is supposed to be 95!!

Cannot wait for a Lapu Lapu and going to check out a margarita or 2!!!

If you can share, I would love some recommendations for drinks! Can't wait to relax in Disney before going back to work!

NJ is getting me ready for the heat, it was 90 here today...we have a nice ocean breeze but the threat of thunderstorms every night....

:cool1: Yay for me, I finally went and saw Brave tonight! Super cute! Even cuter was seeing the castle before the movie starts and my 6 year old saying "We're going to Disney soon!!"

.

I too just finally got around to seeing brave tonight! Such a cute movie! And like your 6 yr old I got excited when I saw the castle and thought to myself " only 25 more days and I'll be there!"

I still have not seen that movie! Must make sure to do that this week.

QOTD: What snack(s) are you most looking forward to in Disney??

I'll be trying my first ever Dole whip (I'm 27 and have been to both the Land and the World multiple times in the past.) but mostly fruit selections for me. (health issues)

QOTD: What snacks are you looking forward to?

I have bunch. Cupcakes at starring rolls, Mickey head icecream, dolewhip and citrus swirl, Karamel Kuche (sp?) many from here, and what I HAVE to have at some point is a funnel cake. I want to try some frozen concoctions of different kinds. I don't drink much alcohol so that is not an issue but if it's cold and refreshing and a snack credit, I may be trying it this year as we are on the DxDP and will have 64 credits for all of us for our whole stay... Holy Moly :lmao: :rotfl2:

Give me some suggestions that I can look into and get our family voting on things to try...

Some opinions plz. I've never tried this kind of thing but seen it done on the DISigns thread. Took about an hour so it's probably not to great, just hoping I'm on the right track. (As you can tell, Chip N' Dale are his favorites)
Thanks! :goodvibes

I'd love to see your list of Must Try drinks, as well!!

Oh hey Mrs Night has your husband ever tried tanning beds for his psorisis? I have exema & i know others with psorisis & the uv rays help them. I had it full on one side of my leg for 2 years, did not go away, did not do anything, out breaks all the time & when i went tanning for my wedding it disappeared after a few weeks. It might help even though wont cure him.

I have never had the school bread. I will have to try it this trip. I always go straight to the bakery in france.

I want to see this list too :drinking1

I'm in the single digits and am soo not ready. Still need to do some last minute planning and start to pack! This is soo unlike me!

Watching Toy Story 3 tonight. Seriously, it's such an awesome movie.

I also painted my nails tonight. With a Disney theme of course! You can see my nails here:

I think they came out good!

Is anyone planning to do Disney nails for their trip?

DD and I always go for Manicures and Pedicures before our trips. Last time we had little Mickey heads airbrushed on our thumb nails. Turned out really cute:)

I told my DS that I was planning on painting my toe nails for this trip, since we'll be spending so much time in sandals or barefoot....and he informed me that I was "too old" for such things  . I am not sure how "young" he thinks you're supposed to be, but at 38, I guess I'm officially over the hill.

Maybe he won't mind if I bring my knitting needles and Ovaltine on the plane :rotfl: .

My poor Jake.....I will be painting 'em anyway and enjoying "feeling" young, even if I'm not :cool2: . I am not entirely ready to grow up just yet!

QOTD: What snack(s) are you most looking forward to in Disney??

Not a Disney snack, but I cannot WAIT to sink my teeth into a piece of peanut butter chocolate pie at TGI Fridays. I would almost consider moving southward and renouncing my Canadian citizenship in order to enjoy that treat more often. :rotfl2:

Its like a little piece of (10,000 calorie) heaven :littleangel: . I hope my hips will forgive me!! :rotfl:

I would love to see this list too! I'm not too much of a dessert person.

Hahaha! Silly teenagers... They think the world is all about them. I remember feeling like that, *sigh*. Just the other day I was lamenting my rather new need for reading glasses on Facebook, and was telling friends to just call me granny, since I was going to knit and talk to my cat. My niece reminded me to take out my dentures before bed!

You should get a design on you big toe nail just to bug your son with it. :rotfl2:

The Citrus Swirl! And I saw a picture (I think on the Disney food blog) of gelato ice cream sandwiches in Italy. I am so trying one of those!
