Good Morning Team August! I can't believe this month is finally here! Summer has gone by fast but I booked this trip 11 1/2 months ago and I AM READY!!!!!!

Two weeks from today I will be running around like a mad woman preparing to fly "home" the next day! I can't wait!

I had a DUH moment tonight. I decided to get a little crafty and make iron on decals for some family t-shirts. Great, no problem, all I had to do was get the images of each of the park maps and save the images individually then add the text just above the map image. No problem right??? Sure... so I get 2 of them done and print them out on the special iron paper. Then I looked at them and said to DH, "I have to iron this on the shirts, when I do that, won't it be backwards???"

DOH!
Yes, Karla, it will come out backwards... Back to square one and start over.

Depends, on some dark transfer paper it doesnt. My light trans paper, you flip it and iron on but my dark is the kind with parchment that goes over the image and iron on right way. Check your instructions carefully. To make you feel better, I did flip mine and print them and then read the instructions that say do NOT flip.

This was my first thought this morning!!!!

18 days, offically but we are leaving around 2am so really its only 17 days plus a hour or two of sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!

My DS is still gone away and I am missing him big time now! but in happy new my niece who was gone for all of July is finally home!!

YAY!!! That's what I was thinking all day yesterday and first thing today!


I didn't post at all yesterday but I did try to read. I was having a bad day and didn't want to be a Debbie Downer.

Feeling much better today.

I have a question that I think we've discussed before but there is no way to find it now.

What sunscreen does everyone use? Does anyone use a special hair sunscreen? Which regular sunscreens do okay on hair/scalp without turning hair white or residue-y??

I really don't want to burn so I want to get a high SPF for sensitive skin but I also want something I can use on my hair/scalp. The hair spray I got has UV blockers in it but I don't think that's the same as SPF or it would say, right?

I should mention I'm white as snow white and I burn then freckle. I do NOT tan at all.
