****OFFICIAL August, 2012 (PART 2)****

It's awesome! I downloaded it the other day and even phoned the in-laws about it, who all think I'm nuts... Ok, I am I, but it IS a cool app!
Even my DW thinks I am nuts with the apps. Here are my Disney/travel apps:

HHAHAHA, Good. I have downloaded about 10 others. these are the ones that I ended up saving. I like the park maps from Disney Paris (Free). I hope that company does one for Tokyo Disney sea. That place looks so amazing.

Is the Disney Experience really worth getting for the Ipad? I don't have an Iphone (I really love my EVO droid), but dh is always getting on to me about what i download to the Ipad.

I wouldn't get one just for disney. But it is great on vacation. Its small enough to fit in your bag and its big enough to see what you are doing on line.

They are going to have the mini announced in September. If you are not worried about the camera or the Resolution of the display you can get a generation 1 Ipad for around $225-$250 on cowboom.com
It is the Best Buy refurbish site. I have had great luck with them.

My wife can't live with out her ipad.
In my opinion you need to get the 3G. The wifi one is a waste of money. :thumbsup2

Actually we have a narrow band UVB 'box' (its 3 sides) that he uses 3x a week. Light does help some. Actually the only thing that ever got rid of it was his 4 week out patient treatment at the Mayo Clinic. It involved the wet wraps that we do now when he's flared. Then coal tar applications 3x a day and light treatment once a day. It completely cleared him and was supposed to put him in remission for a year or more but it lasted all of one week when he returned home. Drs call his psoriasis 'resistant' EVERYTHING helps at first then it stops. But since the lights helped the first time they prescribed the light box and he does that now in addition to topical medications and a monthly immunosuppresant injection. I also have him on a bunch of vitamins and fish oil. The fish oil really helps too. Whenever we run out he flares a bit so I try to keep it here.

Well that sucks :( poor husband.

The inflamation around my sciatic nerve is resiliant too. I have had it for about 8 years now. I have had 3 cortisone treatments which is the life time max & i think it just gave me more nerve damage so i can feel his pain a tad bit (though not really)

It really isn't since I won't be carrying around my ipad in the parks but I wanted to see what it was like, hence the download. It will be a nice reference if back at the resort though. My DD has an Iphone so I'll have her download it for the parks. I have other apps on my Samsung Galaxy as well. Disney World Lines, Mousewait to name just a couple. The Touring Plans (Lines) app is terrific, especially if you have a subscription. I have all my park days mapped out on it. I also have Trip It where I have all my ADRs and confirmation numbers stored. Talk about being obsessive. Geez!

WOW!!!! I just downloaded the new "My Disney Experience" app on my iPad and boy is it terrific! I wish I had an iPhone so I could use it in the parks. I am praying for it to be released for my Android phone within the next 3 weeks so I can use it. Worse comes to worse, my DD has an iPhone and we will use the app on that. You can even make dining reservations right from the app!

If you have an iPad or an iPhone I would highly recommend taking a look at it.

I downloaded the app for my iTouch and I LOVE it!

I think I have all of those that are available in Canada. Uh, except the bedbugs one. I'm not sure I want that one. :( just over 2 weeks to go! Yay!

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

I have a quick minute to post- it's a great second park day. I'm sitting in DHS enjoying a churro right now after a fried chicks dinner at 50s.
Had little rain this afternoon, light, no big deal. It's not nearly as hot as I expected and crowds are manageable for us.

I'm jealous of both the churro and the dinner at 50's.

Anyone else watching the vaulting right now? Some of these girls are having a rough night! I'm making my mousekeeping envelopes and watching the Olympics... fun night!!

It definitely was a rough night for the girls. I don't think I have ever seen someone get a 0 before.

OMG I'm in the teens!!!!!
