So I had to change from Poly to WL I was really jazzed to be at the Poly, but our oldest who is 19 will be coming with us so we need a bigger room. No more free dining for us but at least we still are CL. Maybe one day I'll get to go to the POLY! Or maybe 40% off and I can book 2 rooms there this time We'll keep an eye

It's so far away, I feel like just doing a countdown to when my ADR window opens (March 3).

But I'm not going to tell the kids we're going until June-ish. They ask me about once a week if we're going back this year, and I just say, "oh, maybe. We'll see. It IS a lot of money, you know."

Just booked a super secret trip for us August 21st - 26th at PORFQ. A birthday celebration for my husband and I. My husband turns 40 that week and I have my birthday two weeks later. My son is obsessed so he will be overjoyed to go again. This is our first stay in something other than a Value Resort so they are going to be psyched. Trying to decide if I should plan something to tell them at Christmas or wait until the beginning of summer.

Just FYI to all of us August-ers, on Monday, Jet Blue will be releasing fares up until September 2011! Woo hoo! Probably won't book now, but at least I'll be able to start comparing!

Fianlly just booked!

DH and I are taking a cruise on the Dream August 7-12 to celebrate our anniversary (which is the 7th). Since there's nothing more fun than running around WDW like crazy and then decompressing on the ship afterwards for us, we've known we would extend our 5-day vacation to ten days for a while, but were a bit stressed because a trip from August 2-7 meant a very small chance, if any, of a discount (and no free dining for us!). I finally decided today to get up to my elbows in DIS Board and MouseSavers searches and got us in at the Dolphin with an awesome educator discount (hooray for being a teacher!) and a discount on park tickets that will more than cover dinner at Palo on the cruise

I've never stayed at anything even remotely resembling a deluxe resort, so being able to walk to Epcot/DHS/the Boardwalk and enjoying all the Dolphin amenities has me beaming.

Definitely doing the happy dance today!

If you don't mind me asking...what is the Dolphin teacher discount? I have heard they had one, but don't know any of the details. I am a teacher also, and am just curious.
