I just want what I want when I want it. Is that too much to ask?

Apparently not! My 180 Day + 10 ADR window opened today. I woke up at 5:40 to be on line to make my ADR's. I didn't get everything I wanted -- mostly dinners that were too late for my 5 and 10 year olds. I also didn't get 'Ohana, which I really wanted to try.

I just went back to check and I bagged all the ADR's I wanted for exactly the times I wanted AND I got 'Ohana too. I'm so happy! Don't worry, I canceled my unwanted ADR's.

Here's what I got:

Dinner at Chef Mickeys on my first day (a tradition now)
Breakfast or lunch at Tusker House on day two (kids will decide which they want before we go).
Dinner at Boma on day three.
Dinner at 1900 Park Fare on day four (our first time there)
Dinner at 'Ohana on day five (our first time there)
Breakfast at Akershus on day six (our first time there)
Lunch at the Crystal Palace on day seven

I'm so excited. I can't wait to tell the kids, though I'm going to wait to do that for a couple more months.

Got the ADRs we wanted to (a while ago).

Now we are in the just waiting time period (although the kids -- DD 8 and DS 5) don't know yet and hopefully will not until we wake them up that morning).

Us too...as soon as the tax return gets in the bank next week. We made a Disney savings jar and have been putting lots of extra stray cash and coins in there for just as you stated...tips, souveniers and yes of course the grown-up drinks! The kids have even been putting in their tooth fairy money, which lately seems to be every other other week.

Disney Dream August 12-16th Bay Lake Tower August 16-22nd

Just made flight arrangements yesterday, started making dining reservations.

We are staying in a family suite @ ASM from 8/23-8/30. We got all of the ADR we wanted.

DW and myself spent sometime this afternoon pre-planning some preemptive souvenirs to give our three kids before the big trip in order to get them psyched. We ordered a some Disney pins and lanyards for each of them. We figure they’ll have a fun time buying some pins to add to the collection and maybe they’ll get lucky and trade for something they really want although I’m not sure if my little guys will understand the concept of trading.

We’re going to do a goody bag and give it to each of them right before our trip. At this stage, besides the pins, we’ll get them their autograph book and big pen. I’m also throwing we’ll throw in a T-Shirt and some other Disney goodies.

This will be my 1st time back to theme parks since 1994 although I was @ DTD on a Saturday night this past August for dinner after attending the Star Wars convention at the convention Center. I was really impressed with how evolved the old Disney Marketplace has become. I do admit that I did miss the beach club and 8 Tracks as I have VERY fond memories hanging out at there when I had hair like Brad Pitt.

I was able to get all the ADRs I wanted although 'Ohana is later than I wanted & Le Cellier is earlier.
I feel really lucky since with SoG I couldn't do 180+10.

Put us down. Hubby switched jobs so we had to push it back to save some vacation time.

August 27-September 5 @ POP

We'll be there for our actual anniversary (the 30th, 3 years ) and it's our first trip back to Disney since we honeymooned there and our first time bringing our little boy who will be 2.

What is the date range on the FD pin code?

I'm not sure when it starts but it does end on August 13th...If I remember right it runs all summer with ZERO blackout dates. It is QS at values/mods & the regular DP @ deluxes.
