I will be there about same time as you. Aug 10-16 at the POFQ. I am 21 and will be there with my parents.

Two weeks doesn't sound like a long time when you say it but it looks like a very long time on the calendar.

Does anyone know if you are allowed to have pool noodles in the pools at Disney resorts. Don't ask me how we're gonna pack it though! LOL! I recall last year they told us no flotation devices like swim rings.

I got my docs yesterday, 28 more days until we start the drive down from NY. I can't wait to pull into POR!

One month today.http://www.wdwinfo.com/images/smilies/cool1.gif

We go down on the 17th. My FIL and one of my BIL with his family will meet us there on the 18th (so we have 24 hrs of peace http://www.wdwinfo.com/images/smilies/woohoo.gif). The ME tags arrived last week, that was an awesome feeling.

We have the 4 night Wonder booked for the 22nd. Found out last week we have been upgraded from a CAT 8 to CAT 5. Pixie dust. A wonderful thing. Well earned reward for agreeing to go to Disney will my inlaws? I think so.

We brought pool noodles to Saratoga Springs Resort, Grandstand pool. That is not the main feature pool though. Its my guess that the lifeguards at any given resort have the final say on pool accessories, and if its crowded, they might ask you not to bring them into the pool because someone might get knocked with them. Also, the DVC resorts might be a different situation than regular pools because of the "home" atmosphere. We stuck the pool noodles in the back of the van with all the rest of the "unnecessary (according to DH)" things we were bringing. I don't think we'll be bringing them this time because we'll have add DS18's stuff for college and we'll be lucky if we can drive off without the Thule box. :upsidedow

We arrive in 3 weeks. I am excited and anxious and so not as prepared as I would like to be. I have nothing packed. My partner is out of town until 6 days before our vacation, everything is going to be a last minute hassle.

Can we just fast forward to 3 weeks from today? I am tired just thinking about what lays ahead of me. lol

The quiet pools might be a better idea....we are flying Southwest! It might fit in our empty carry on that we plan to use for take home treats!

I've never even seen a lifeguard at the Grandstand pool (just the main pool) but I have seen noodles and beach balls:)Have fun:yay:

Neither have I. I've only seen a lifeguard show up in a golf cart to place a "pool closed" sign during a thunderstorm. then he zoomed off again!

Those noodles are cheap enough that we could leave it if we had to. Someone else could enjoy using it.
