24 days and almost time to start packing

29 days and time to frantically get my DD8's autograph book updated from our last trip. I have the characters sign every other page, and then I put a photo on the facing page of her with the character who signed. I actually haven't printed ANY of the photos from my last trip.. which was last week of March first week of April of this year.

We (myself, DH, DD, DS) will be there 8/1 - 8/13, 2nd trip to the World!!

Hey... I have actually BEEN to Spring Texas. Cute little town. What I remember most is getting Bluebell Ice cream at a little stand in the historic area and hiding in a cafe as a tornado went by somewhere nearby and they could hardly hold the doors of the cafe closed.

You're kidding ... right? If you forget something, you're so close you can practically go back for it!! I don't understand how you can spare you clothes for that long. If its winter here, then yeah, I wouldn't be needed my summer clothes, but still... bras and undies.... my favorites would have to wait til a few days before. We're usually up late the night before our trip, packing and packing.....At least I put my clothes aside the laundry day before our trip, while DH doesn't even THINK about what clothes he's bringing until hours before we leave! Men!

Since all Cameran's Disney clothes are either new or custom made for this trip, it's easy to have her already organized and packed (and she is), but you are right, I will wait until 2-3 days before we leave to pack mine, and Mike will start thinking about his bags with 15 minutes until take-off. THEN start asking me where everything is...

Is there anything else we should be doing?

We still have one hotel stay coming up. We're staying at the Holiday Inn-Baltimore Inner Harbour for my husband's 30th high school class reunion. The party itself is a dinner cruise on the Spirit of Baltimore. Of course, the hotel won't be Disney.... so I might be alittle critical if it doesn't meet my Disnified expectations and..... they CHARGE for parking!! $21 per day They have no clue!

Mine came right on day 30. It included the trip/resort itinerary, a photopass card, a bunch of vouchers, and the luggage tags.

Don't think I've posted on here yet...we changed our Dec/Jan. trip plans so my sisters and I will be going Aug. 8-14. We're staying at Saratoga Springs (our home resort!!) and will be spending a day at WWOHP!

I bought clothes tonight for our trip.... I put them straight in the suitcase!!!!! I told my daughters they were not allowed to wear them until we go to Disney. I don't want them getting them all stained up! They are for our pictures at the Poly! I'm so super excited!!!!!

What is wrong with me.... I haven't made a single garment specifically for this trip? When DH and I went on our honeymoon 24 years ago this month, I had made us matchy-matchy aloha wear. DH still has his, but sadly, I long ago got rid of my skirts that matched his shirts. Eh! They'd probably be too small. I was so tiny... like a size 5

I once made a lime green Mickey head DISboards flag to hang from our balcony at Saratoga, but we won't have a balcony at Pop, so I have no idea what to do with the flag.

I've got to get busy soon making our matching shirts! We usually wear all Disney but this year we are going to do a Pittsburgh day with our Steelers and Penguins gear.
