I'm really late in the game here but we have just decided we will be going April 18-28. We will either be at Pop or POR. We were planning on the last week of October but I will be student teaching this fall and they seem to frown upon me missing 2 weeks to go to WDW. I have to jump into ADR's and try to get other things set up asap. I have NEVER planned a trip with this little amount of time.

Just breathe. It will be ok. I just started planning my trip a few weeks ago, and the only elusive ADR was Be Our Guest.

I noticed that to when I moved a few ADR's around last week. Is it a quiet time outside of school holidays?

I think that's it. It probably has something to do with Easter being so early this year. Next year I imagine, April will be crazy.

Hi everyone! I am doing my happy dance because we just booked today! It is our first trip without our 5 kiddos b/c it is our 15 year anniversary celebration! Woot, woot!! We are going April 19-27th and staying at POR. We booked a River view room, got WPF&M tickets with our MYW package, and the dining plan!

I made most of my reservations last week, and so far we are eating at Teppan Edo, Sci-Fi, T-REX, Narcoossee's, Raglan Road, and Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic Dinner Package. We are tryint two new restaurants this year: Narcoossee's and Raglan Road, so we are excited! I have one more reservation to make, so I am trying to figure out where we want to go!

Don't forget that at the 45-day mark (when people have to cancel packages without penalty), a good many ADRs may open up. Just check multiple times a day. I planned our last trip in two months and got every ADR we wanted, including 'Ohana and Le Cellier (lunch and dinner).

I'm getting a little concerned about crowd levels during the week of 4/20-4/27. My brother is bringing his family down an is staying at POP. His reservations were originally for 4/21-4/27. He called Friday to add 4/20 and they told him POP was completely booked. He then called AoA to check on a room there since that's where we are staying, and they told him the same thing. I am just hoping that 4/20 is just the last night for Spring Breakers and most are leaving on 4/21. Historically, the week of 4/20-4/27 has pretty low crowd levels. Have things changed?

Ahhhh I hope it's not bad.. We have done this week most years we have went and have never had a problem.
I am worried now Bc we are looking at 4/23-4/30 but haven't booked yet!!!!! I am waiting my tax return I will heartbroken if we can't get into aoa. As of the other day when I called a few agents, rooms were still available for our week. Praying for our return to make it into our account ASAP!!! It's driving me nuts Bc I want plans in stone and want to make my adrs!

Is it possible that he has a promo code that just has no rooms available at THAT RATE? I just went on the website and put in the date, and both resorts are showing availablity for the 20th. But if he is using a discount code...there may not be any rooms at that rate available. Have him call again and try the full price rate. The week before isn't a peak week either, most of the spring break crowds should be gone by the 8th. There are a few after that, but the craziness should be fading by the 8th. I am sure it has to be that the promo your brother is using is the same one that everyone is using, so there are just no discounted rooms left. From what I have been told, Disney only allows XX amount of rooms at each resort to be booked under each promo. So there may still be half the resort still available, but none under that discount.

I think there is a dance group the weekend of the 26th-28th??? We actually moved our trip to the 15-25 to avoid it.

That's the main one I noted down, There's some smaller groups earlier on but nothing that looks like it would fill all the hotels!

I tried really hard to book a time when it wouldn't be too congested for the sake of the kids ... and DH, who hates crowds.

We have been there before with the cheer group and it wasn't that bad. In the parks it didn't make much difference. The one night at the hotel they all decided to take a late night swim and were very loud but that's the only issue we had.

Trying my first post. Not sure about the signature, ticker, etc. I'll try to learn from you guys. DH and I will be staying in a Royal Guest Garden View at POR 4/20-27. We stayed at POFQ in May, 2009. It was my husbands 1st visit. OMG, the whole week it was near 100 degrees and it was really hard for us to enjoy our vacation. I so hope the weather will be 80ish this time. Anyhow, I am so, so excited to go. We are in our 50's and kids at heart!
