I just posted on the FB page but I'm just so excited we got our airfare booked! We were able to keep our original dates! We went with PVD because the rates took a nose dive and we get direct flights!!! Plus if we stay with the in laws then we won't have to pay to park ;) AND they'll watch our dog!!!

What day are you flying out? How much of a nose dive???

did someone post earlier on this thread (i can't keep track of what I read where, lol) something about waiting to book their SW flight until more of their points come in on 11/1? Is that your next statement close date? I'm supposed to be getting an additional 25k bonus points (got the first 25k on my first statement date) and I'm wondering if they only get deposited on statement dates or if they randomly deposit throughout the month??

My hubby has imported all of our plans into a spreadsheet, as he does every year. He went all out with graphics and everything...so cute!!!

We are flying out 4/18.....got fares for 6-8k points which is about $120-140. Earlier in the week they were over $200-$300!

Yes they get deposited a few days after the statement closing date....usually like 2-3 business days :)

That's what they were if we went out of Manchester, where are u flying from?

When I saw 6500 points I was like Ahhhhhhh I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I seriously had like 4 contractions lol

Has anyone ever eaten at Casey's Corner in the MK? I read about it in a trip report and it seems like an awesome deal for lunch on the dining plan-for one QS credit, you get a hotdog, fries, a drink, and dessert (they have cotton candy!). I'm curious to see if people like what they have, since it's an awesome deal.

Also excited that the chocolate covered marshmallows on a stick are sometimes accepted as snack credits...MMM!

I think Casey's is decent. Very crowded at any traditional meal time.

yep, manchester. my options so far seem to bee either $250-$350/pp and able to use some points out of Manchester, or $400-$500/pp and not able to use any points out of Logan. :rolleyes2

I just noticed that the TA calendar was updated again. I'm not sure what the changes are since the last update.

oh, it's only the first week that it's 8:00. maybe it was always like that, I never looked at that week

How bout Providence then? It's only an hour or so past Logan :)

nope, only 1 nonstop that would work out of there and it's always $400+. And again, even the crappy flights with stops aren't much cheaper than that!

so now that ADRs are made and nothing to do but wait.....is anyone else planning their *next* trip after that (in their head)? I'm planning the next 2, lol. I think as soon as we get back from this one, I'm going to start putting away $$ for a mini-trip (like 3 nts.) for just DH and I for my b-day in August. We'll stay at one of the EPCOT hotels (i'm thinking BWI) and probably just do Epcot while there.
And THEN, after that.... I'll start saving for a short mother/daughter trip (maybe 3-4nts.)for YDD and I. I'm thinking maybe next January or February. I was thinking POR Royal Rooms for that. :thumbsup2

::yes::

Planning on doing the F&W for the first time next Oct...along with my first MNSSHP, but that will be my BFF and I for a quick 4 night trip.

Then, the family and I will return in February 2014!!
It will be our last trip with our oldest DD still being considered a child...in Disney's eyes :rolleyes2

We are at AOA so too much out of our budget to add another night. I suppose we could switch to a LM room or POP but then we have to add a day to our tickets too...or not and just swim! Or we stay at the pool for awhile and then return the car a day early and stay in the airport Hyatt which I think the kids might get a kick out of!

I always enjoy just hanging out at the resorts and swimming, or heading to downtown Disney! But if you'd have to switch resorts anyway it might be more convenient just to head to the hotel!

Yeah, I've been wondering what to do now that our ADRs are done. (Except for stalking the phone lines to get the Pirates & Pals cruise, but that's not quite as involved. ;)) I've always had general game plans for WDW, but not specific touring plans ... I'm going to give them a try.

Side question. We have never seen Fantasmic, believe it or not. How loud is it? My oldest loves music and water and isn't easy to scare ... but he doesn't like loud noises. The younger one will be fine if we just keep reminding him it has a happy ending. I think.

Also, all the things I read suggest getting there hours in advance. :crazy2: That's just not gonna happen. How necessary is an early arrival?

We got there about an hour early last time and got decent seats. I enjoy the show but not enough to give up hours of my evening to get a seat, so I wouldn't go any earlier than an hour unless you're desperate to see it.

Yes! Well, this April trip is technically my second trip I'm planning right now ;) I'm going to February and then again in April. I would love to do a third... but the problem is I'm going to be looking for a job soon and I don't want to schedule anything that might conflict. Depending on what sort of job I get and schedule, I would really love to do a visit towards the end of the year. We've never done any of the fall events (MNSSHP, Food and Wine, or MVMCP) so I would love to go for one or two of those!

I am hoping to be able to go next December too. My sister is doing the College Program until August and will probably try to extend it. If she does and she's still down there it'd be a good excuse to go again. But even if she isn't there I still want to go. By that time it will have been 5 year since I've last been there around the holidays. I had a trip planned for this December but ended up having to cancel so we had enough DVC points for the April trip at BLT. I am seriously dying to go back and see the Christmas decorations.
