So exciting! Only 31 more days for me . Will arrive the 22nd and spend that evening at MK with extra magic hours. Just my DH and I are going. We wanted to go next year by ourselves to celebrate our 5th anniversary but DD will turn 2 Oct 2013 and want to take her for her first trip to the most magical place on earth then so we bumped our trip up to now. This is our second trip. First trip was last year and took DS for his second birthday. Looking forward to some adult time with my wonderful DH.

Charity ~ yes, it will be me, DH, and my 3 girls (6, 3, just turned 1).

I am getting more and more excited, too. I have some friends going at the end of this week, so it has been fun having some to talk Disney with! I've been packing for awhile, but I have started putting outfits for the girls together in ziploc bags. I have my list of things I need to buy as well!! It hit me yesterday just exactly how hot it is going to be. I was looking forward to packing less than I normally do; since we've always gone in January I've had to pack everything from coats and jeans to shorts. But I'm thinking I"ll probably need to pack several extra clothes b/c some days I imagine we'll go through 2 outfits a day. We plan on coming back to the resort several days, if not every, for an afternoon swim; I don't think we'll want to put back on our sweaty clothes we wore for the first part of the day. Although I'm sure I'll plan at least one laundry day while I'm there!

Stevie - we are BOUND to bump into one another FOR SURE then. We have time scheduled every day to head back to the Poly pool too.

I have taken the suitcases out, but haven't really started packing yet. Wish I had a guest room to put the suitcases on the bed for that reason alone! I am going to have to sit down and start writing my full packing list and start figuring out what (if anything) I need to buy.

I Registered just so I could let y'all know that my family will be in WDW 22-29 April. Me, DW, DS, DM and DF. (OK, I haven't found the dictionary to see if those last 2 are valid; it's the first big trip they're taking with their grandson) We'll all be staying at CBR.
I'm having a hard time containing myself, and the countdown on my Nexus still says 32 more days!?!?! Gaah!

4 weeks from now I will be wandering around the MK with ODS!
this was an impromptu trip - only just decided to go about 2 weeks ago. Staying at the CBR for the first time and my father/stepmother will be coming along and we'll be meeting my sister/BIL/niece/nephews down there as well.
I'm nervous about the weather. I hope it's not too hot. I swore I'd never go any later than late-February

We love love love Kidani, the pool is WONDERFUL! My kids would just assume hang out at the pool then just about anything else. We were there shortly after they opened and I'm sure its even better now. I would suggest asking for a room that is close to the lobby, the resort is very long and its quite a trek if you have a room at the far end of a hallway especially if you are heading to the pool from the opposite way.

Great suggestion - I was trying to figure out what kind of room reqeust to make. Seems "near the lobby" is a popular one! I'll definitely add that to my ressie! Thanks!

you will LOVE Kidani!!!! Just noticed your dates and we will be almost done our trip when you arrive. ah nuts!

Hi guys, I posted a long time ago but I was never updated in the april groups. We arrive April 17th and leave the 24th. We were staying at the BC and then switched to e Poly ( after all the SAB fuss) and now I am regretting my decision.. All my ressies were based on being in the bwBc area.. I love the poly but we stayed there last year and we were so looking forward to the BC..

When I did my online check-in, it allowed me to do "limited" requests. In other words, there was a button there to click for requests which opened up another window with check boxes for the available request options. The only requests available to me were a certain floor or "balcony preferred". I couldn't specify in a text box what exactly I wanted.

I chose to leave mine blank because I had already made my requests on the initial reservation.

Like Scott said, it was very limited. I'm going to call in a few days and make sure it's noted somewhere that we have a room-only at the tail end of our package - I really do not want to have to move rooms on Saturday!

The long term forecast looked so exciting but now it's mid to high 80's again. Ugh. DH hates heat. I hope it changes again, goodness knows there's plenty of time!

I keep wanting to run touring plans scenarios in TP or Ridemax, but Ridemax keeps doing stupid things like telling me to go ride RRC and TOT and then go wait 70 minutes to ride TSMM. Think I'm going to go with the TP customizable ones.

The other thing is I'm seriously wondering if I'm going to be able to get me and the girls up and out the door in time to make a 7am EMH at HS. DD is in love with TSMM so I think she would be able to do it - we'll all have to shower the night before and have our clothes out and ready so we just have to throw our clothes on and stumble to the bus stop. But man, out the door by 6am is even earlier than we do at home. (6:30 on band practice days, 7:20 most other days.)

It's just DH and I this time too, poor DD doesn't have the same vacation schedule as I do now that she's in college (I teach high school). As much as I LOVE going with her it's also lovely spending time there with my sweetie!

Enjoy the wishes dessert party! We were planning on doing that then changed our minds. We are going to eat at Wilderness canyon cafe before we had to MK that evening. I love touring the different resorts and have heard great things about this resort so I thought we could have a great meal and a tour all at the same time.

It is looking more and more like we will be cancelling. I'm holding out until 4/9 to cancel (our reservation starts the 16th). Our dog is getting slower and slower and sleeping more and more but I'm not sure she will be dead (that sounds terrible to say, doesn't it?) by our trip. Dh and I had agreed after we left her the last time that we wouldn't take an extended trip again until she died. I guess I'll move our reservation up a year and we'll go for our 36th anniversary instead if I cancel. I'll let you all know what dining reservations will be opening up between the 16th and 27th if I cancel.

That's so sad I know exactly how you feel. I hope everything works out and your puppy isn't suffering.
