OFFICIAL April 2012 DISers! 2 months and counting!

I agree! :thumbsup2 I like the Wishes idea!

Perfect! We will have to try and start a 3-person private message (Is that even possible?) to pick a potential day! Not like we aren't busy enough already in DW, but heck, if we can at least know what days we plan on watching Wishes from the Poly Beach, maybe we can try keep an eye out for one-another. I know I am planning on watching them from the beach on the 14th (arrival day for us) my Mom seems to think we'll have the gusto to see them from MK, but I already told her - NOPE. The beach it is. And we will probably be in our jammies. Cause we roll like that. :cool1:

We are planning on watching Wishes on our arrival day as well!! I can't remember what time our dinner ressies are (at Ohana) but the goal is to make to wishes and then go to bed so we can get up nice and early for MK! What time is Wishes on the 14th? And if the 14th doesn't end up working out, I'm sure we'll be watching it again another night...part of the reason we splurged for the Poly!

Disneyworld's official website is notorious for being the slowest when it comes to updating park hours. The link you have is also from the Disney company intended for travel agents, and it is accurate and most up-to-date. Disneyworld.com's updates usually lag about a couple of weeks behind.

Just to clarify, the new hours are:
April 21st - Regular Park Hours: 9am-1am
April 22nd - Regular Park Hours: 9am-11pm + Extra Magic Hours PM which I'm guessing is until 2am (you have to scroll down to the bottom row on the calendar to see the EMH schedules for each day on the travel agent website)

So MK will be open until late for both days for you if you're staying onsite. Hope this helps!

MK is open until 2am on a Sunday?? Wow!

Thanks for the clarification, I am loving those extra hours!

MK is open until 2am on our first Sunday there and our Friday there, and I am hoping to take advantage of both of them (it's also our last Sunday there, but since we have a 7:30am flight home, we won't be making that!)

The Sunday is our last day as well, with an early flight the next morning, but we will probably still try and go as late as we can. It's our first trip, so we want to take advantage of as many hours as we can. We can always sleep on the plane.

Angie - you may see me running around at MK that Sunday and maybe that Friday during those hours.

Figure it may be a good opportunity to run around MK by myself after the kids go to bed....plus it's just a 10 min. walk from BLT! :thumbsup2

We are staying at Pop Century, so we are able to do the extra hours, but how do they know who is and isn't staying onsite? How do they get the ones who aren't to leave?

A co-worker was asking me questions today about going on their first trip to WDW. It got me all excited!! I hope I didn't overwhelm her! Ha. She is just planning now and wants to go Spring Break week!! Thanks to all of you I had lots of tips for her!!

But now it's gotten me all pumped about my trip!! Not that I needed help, but just thinking about it gets the mind wandering!!! :yay:

You can stay in the park if you aren't an onsite guest, but you have to show your KTTW card to get in line for rides. They'll happily take off-site guests' money at restaurants/stores. But no rides unless you're staying onsite.

Oh, well that sounds really awesome! I am getting so excited!! :woohoo:

Just got our package! And I also just pre ordered the Photopass before prices go up tomorrow :thumbsup2

Awesome! You sound just like me. Wishes on the beach was also one of our reasons for choosing the Poly. That, and the VOLCANO POOL!!!! OOOHH YEAAHHHH!!!

I will keep my eyes peeled for you and your 3 (?) little girls!! :flower3:

I love this part! :lovestruc Barely more than a month until my trip! I actually love it when it gets to this point, because I get so caught up in the excitement of going by gathering items to pack, last minute clothing shopping, laminating little check lists, etc.

Friday I'm adding the dining plan back on. I had removed it so I didn't have to pay at date. Can't wait....

loving the excitement on the April board here!:lovestruc Now I am on the hunt for possibly an aero bed for one of my boys?!?! Keep reading how awful the pull out sofa in the studios are, and stressing that they won't fit and it will be awfully uncomfortable :sad1: Anyone have a good one that they like that packs small?? Thanks!
