4/19- still need one

Obviously heavy on character meals, but I think the kids will love them. (I think I will too!)
I was considering Whispering Canyon for dinner on the 19th, or perhaps one of the Epcot restaurants.

Would love suggestions, comments or alternatives. None of the above are set in stone. I want to get them finalized soon because I do have a tendancy to obsess. I need to just get them done and leave it alone. I keep reminding myself that these will not be our last meals on Earth!

I have almost blurted out the suprise several times. It's hard to keep this secret!

We did Whispering Canyon Cafe a couple of years ago and it was fun. But what about the princess meal at Akershus (epcot)...not sure what your son would think, but I bet your daughter would love it!

Teppan Edo
Le Chefs de France (Remy from Ratoutille)
Akershus (for princesses)

We also like Sci-Fi at DHS
and T-Rex at DTD

Looks like a great bunch of ADRs. We're looking forward to the character meals as well.

We're going to be in Epcot our last night and stay for Illunations. We've got an ADR for Le Chefs du France as a last night dinner. It's a bit nicer meal for the grown ups but we've timed it with one of the times that Remy from Ratatouille appears so although not a character meal it will still be fun for our daughter. Just a thought.

We are going April 1-April 7, staying off site. Traveling with us is me, my husband, mil, and 3 kids (9, 7, 5). This is our first Disney trip!!!

I made my ADRs months ago but I was just finalizing them w/ my parents (since they are joining us this yr.).
These are some of our favorites but my parents haven't been to a lot of them so it's more exciting this time.

Rose & Crown (to watch Illuminations)
Via Napoli (DH & I for lunch)
Le Chefs de France (grandparents bringing grandchildren for lunch)
Garden Grill
Cali Grill (to watch Wishes)
Sci-Fi
Flying Fish

YES !! In fact I told someone today "in exactly one month from today I will be waking up IN Disney !!

We arrive on the 1st and have no ADRS for that day. Our plane leaves at 7am. so we have to be out of the house by about 4am. I left that day open, because we may be tired and just want to relax and not have an ADR hanging over our heads. We'll definitely go to a park though! We'll just end up doing quick service that day.

4/2 We had an ADR for Sci Fi ( one of our favorites) but got tickets to the METS/ Braves game so I cancelled those and we'll get something at the ball park.

Tuesday 4/3 is Rose and Crown @ 1pm

Wednesday 4/4 is the Crystal palace at 12:20. (Haven't been to a character meal in years!)

Thursday 4/5 we have Garden Grill at 6:30. We have never been there but always hear good things about it!

Friday 4/6 is Boma at 8pm. A definite family favorite.

Saturday 4/7 we decided to try something totally different and are going to Afternnon tea at the Grand Floridian Garden Tea Room at 3:50.

Easter Sunday 4/8 California Grill at 9:10. DH and I love california Grill, but it was our 2 daughters that wanted to make sure we made this ADR!

I just read on another thread that the values are now going to be getting refridgerators in the rooms for free now. Did anyone else hear this? That would be a nice surprise if this is definitely going to happen!!

MMM We love Boma staying at the AKL makes it convenient too! Only problem is that it makes us feel like we should eat there more than once. Its so hard to choose! I need to stop changing our ADR's and just leave it alone.

Yes, it's true! It was just announced. They are in the process of adding them. They estimated by the end of March for Pop. I only paid attention to that one because that's where I'm staying in mid April, but according to what I saw it was going to be one of the first value resorts done.

I know what you mean. I've heard a lot of positive reviews for both breakfast and dinner that I would have liked to have tried both. But since we're staying at Poly, was only able to squeeze in a dinner for our AK day. Can't wait! 39 days!!!

WDWMagic.com is reporting this morning that the re-opening date for Dumbo has been pushed back to March 31st. From the sound of things, it looks very unlikely that it will be pushed back any further - they're also reporting that CMs will be Storybook Circus next week for a couple of weeks of training and testing. Saw some recent arial photos on WDWMagic yesterday, and it looks like they're pretty much ready to go. It's also clear that the relocated second Dumbo will not be opening at the same time as they have placed new construction walls around it.
