Just paid off our trip!

Well, mostly. We paid off our package, and paid the deposit on our two day room-only reservation. We'll upgrade the tickets when we get there, and pay the balance on our room. But as far as Disney is concerned, we're good to go until our 3/31 arrival date, so I'm counting today as a celebration day!

47 days to go!

Also doing the happy dance for April. Infact tomorrow I'm telling the kids through a scavenger hunt for my sons bday! We are going 3/30-4/6 (then clearwater-4/8).I've decided to stay off site in a private rental home this time since my husband is not a fan of crowds. I am a little nervous abt the crowds but we will just bring our best attitudes and hope for the best. I cant wait!

Ooh, we'll be there in April too!! We're staying offsite in Reunion April 14 - 27. Looks like there will be quite a few of us at Disney at this time. We'll be looking for lime green!!

Uh oh. See, we're usually there the second week in April cause that's when our Spring Break is. This year, they have it as the first week in April. Not too happy about it, but what can ya do?? I know what to expect, have been there tons of times before and know the ins and outs, and we'll just make the best of it!

Our spring break is always the week before Easter. We have been there several times, always the week before Easter - sometimes it is not too bad and other times it is packed. But, what can you do - we also know what to expect and make the best of it. Just happy to be in Disney!!!

Heck, I'm 36 and I'm still not sure I want to ride Dinosaur - I have a massive startle reflex - someone coming in the room while I'm washing dishes and have my back turned will make me jump!

I have watched the Youtube video a couple of times. I just can't decide if it would just be terrifying, or if I'd like it. Going to have DD watch and see if she'd be willing to go with me. Heh.

I am not sure what the ride was called when I was a kid, but there was similar ride at EPCOT and it sounds very similar to the current Dinosaur....all I remember is trying to burrow behind my dad's back because I was SO SCARED! I will not EVER EVER EVER ride Dinosaur!!!

Updated the first post again. By my count we have 72 DISers going in April!

Today is our 45 days, and it's also the day RideMax should have April available. Looking forward to playing with it tonight. We're planning on using it in the mornings to knock out the headliners, and then taking the afternoon at a slower pace. We'll see how that works.

Added! Enjoy the GF! My friend who is going the 29th-1st got upgraded to the GF because her POR Royal Room isn't going to be ready. I'm totally envious!

I'm thinking about switching our reservation over to POR. That is where I originally wanted to stay, but DD liked the pool better at CSR. I don't like the fact that Pepper Market is a buffet now for breakfast and lunch. It's going to cost us about $55 - $60 each morning just for breakfast. I want to be able to just grab a waffle or something smaller. The buffet would be a good deal if we were on the QS dining plan, but paying OOP is too much, especially for my DD who eats like a bird.

I think I will call tomorrow and make the switch.

Ooooh, I have RideMax too and I was just wondering today when they will have Aprils schedule out!! Thanks for sharing I might have to add that to my plan this evening if I have time after updating my pre trip report with my 1st days plans.

OMG our days overlap just a little bit I am there from the 7th to the 14th at the Best Western in DTD (it's my DD's softball spring training trip) maybe we can meet up on the 8th!!! (It's Easter but maybe)

angierae - can you please add me for a second trip from April 29- May 6th .. I won a trip from work and have to do some work and lots of play from April 29 - May 2 at the Yacht & Beach Club and then my Hubs will come to play from May 2nd - 6 at most likely the Pop... (it's his first trip)

Why do I do this to myself???!!!
I decided to watch Wishes on Youtube a few minutes ago. Now I am just dying for this trip to hurry up and get here!!

I shouldn't complain. It's only 72 days to go, but some days (like today) that feels soooooooo far away!!!
