OFFICIAL April 2012 DISers! 2 months and counting!

I need to have DH call our timeshare and book us! We are now probably going from April 5-11 because my sister has to fly home early to head to DC for school event.

I hope we can check in at timeshares on Thurs...if not it's the 6-12th

There are many timeshares that have Thursday check-ins (Marriotts are my favorite for Thursday)... but it will definitely depend on where you want to stay.

It looks like Orange Lake does allow for Thurs. It let me check availability on any date! I just need DH to call and see if we can use our points that way.

We've always checked in on a Friday or a Thursday! Now which Village do we want to book? East or North? That's our big decision now! lol

Just wanted to post that I made a payment on my vacation that was ALL "extra" money, I was so proud. A lot of extra savings, plus a small bonus I got a work, plus money I got for selling my old cell phone to a coworker.

It was only a couple hundred dollars but it sure makes the bottom line in my savings chart look good

I am leaning towards booking at ASMO but wonder if there will be a huge "field trip" group at the Allstars that week. Either way we are going, airfare is booked!

We had to change plans and scrap our MNSSHP trip in October 2012. The good news: we're all of a sudden 6 months closer to our next Disney trip!!

DD (24) and I are going Apirl 21 to May 5, 2012, so that puts us in two threads I guess.

We are staying at BWV April 21 to 28, 2012 and then AKL for the second week!

We have only stayed (once) at Old Key West so are excited about staying some where new.

We are going April 27 - May 13 - staying off site at Windsor Hills, then at Madeira Beach (dh is shooting a wedding there) and then staying onsite at Universal - I think RCR.

Maybe see a few April Dis'ers while we are there

I updated the list on the first post of everyone who has posted their dates.

After the disappointment of DD16's best friend's parents changing their mind on whether or not she could come with us, she is now happy because her "cousin" is coming with us. (It's actually my ex-SIL's daughter from her 2nd marriage, but since I like my ex-SIL better than my brother....they're cousins )

So we're back up to a group of four, and back to DH and I having a few "grown up evenings" together to go to some signature restaurants and doing what -we- want to do, so that'll be fun, too.

Hi all! Just migrated from the March board... My DD's school band and chorus is doing a trip to Disney, and we're planning on overlapping some of those days. It was originally supposed to be sometime in March, but got changed to April 26-30. Still not sure of our exact dates OR where we'll be staying (but most likely at Vistana Villages where my mom has a timeshare)... but we're definitely going!!
