OFFICIAL April 2012 DISers! 2 months and counting!

I have 25 moe days. I am for the most part packed. Just last inute stuff to go in the suitcase. I hope everyone leaving soon has an amazing trip!!!:goodvibes Cant wait to hear about everyone's travels when they get back:)

just checked the 10 day forecast...I know it can change, but the week leading up to my trip was at least in the lower 80s...hope it stays that way (and doesn't get hotter)!

I was just checking the 14 day forecast too, and it says our first day in the parks are going to have a chance of thunder showers. Not liking the sounds of that!

24 days till Disney, 11 days till we tell Jordan she's going to Disney. We are going to video tape her opening her presents hopefully I can figure out how to post it here. Her mom has wrapped her gift (Disney sweatshirt & t-shirt) and put the "your going to Disney" card on top so when she opens the box that will be the first thing she see's.

We have not started packing shorts yet because well, it's warm here and we are wearing them daily. But I do have bathing suits, all bathroom stuff, all room decorating stuff and shirts packed. I will have to wait until the day before we leave to get the couple of grocery items I will have to take - That is the worst part of this gluten intolerance crap - I feel like I need to take in snacks, even though I hear disney is great with food allergies. I just want to make sure I have some fast snacks on me each day.

Oh and I was reading easywdw.com today and I have been following both easywdw & touringplans for the past couple of weeks to see who I thought was doing a better job at "predictions" and my vote is easywdw.com - Example: Yesterday or Sunday touringplans had overall crowd level at 2 - in reality it was like 9 - I could have guessed that one was WRONG with it being 1 week before Easter.

Anyways, Still plenty to do to get ready, but I have all of my lists ready for when the time comes. Also I am SUPER busy at work until I leave so that will make the next 24 days go by fast.

How is the gluten-free going for you? Are you feeling any better? I have heard that people feel almost immediately better once they switch!!

For what it's worth, the Lines app (from Touring Plans) for DLR was right on this past Saturday. I also like that EasyWDW gives reasons for why a park is good or bad. The write-ups are really good.

OMG - I feel AMAZING!!! I can't believe I ignored and poo pooed off how I was feeling for 5 YEARS!!!! But I guess I was much more concerned with my son & DH and their health. Plus I kept chalking up my feeling sick all the time to not having a gallbladder anymore. SOOOO glad it is figured out. I feel so good.

And I also have the lines app and we loved it on our October trip, but we looked at both sites for last trip and easywdw was much more accurate then touringplans. - So to decided on what park to go to each day I will be using easywdw and once in the parks we will check wdwlines (aka - touringplans).

Actually this trip I wrote down the sugessted parks go to/don't go to and compaired them. If both sites said AVOID - we are avoiding, if both said Best park, that is where we are going. I think there are only a couple of days that I had to just suck it up and pick a park - and for those I went with easywdw.

Hey I started taking these chocolate health shakes called shakeology that are gluten free if you want to check them out the website is shakeology.com/bethbrowning which is my site because I believed in the product so much after I started buying them and drinking them everyday I started to work for the company lol or if you have any questions let me know.

Oh my goodness, talk about stress! I direct the theatre productions at our high school and just got home from rehearsal. There are 2 1/2 weeks before our trip (I have to have the whole show choreographed by then) and only 2 weeks after that before production week! Kids are sick or not showing up to rehearsal just because; I'm trying to get costumes, props and the set together and it's getting absolutely crazy! All I want to do is think and plan my Disney trip! ARGH! :thumbsup2 On the positive side, these next 2 1/2 weeks is going to FLY by with everything I have to jam in for the show! hahahah!

Leaving in......8 hours. Yes I should be in bed, but I just had to put another load of laundry in. I asked DS where a pair of his shorts were about 15 minutes ago. He's like uhhh, they're dirty in my gym bag:scared1:

Hey, I just read on AllEars that now through April 28th they will be giving a "bounce back" offer at all the CS eateries that gives you 20% off merchandise. Here's a copy of what they wrote:

-- Now through April 28, a 20% discount "Bounce Back" merchandise coupon will be included with receipts at Quick Service restaurant locations.

When they did that two years ago, it was only for downtown Disney and only until noon the following day. Not sure if that will be the case this time. Sure is nice to get 20% off for things you had planned to buy anyway!

Friday morning we will be on our way I can not wait. Only two more days of work, we will see what it brings. So far this week Monday I had a bench thrown on my foot (luckily no broken toes just two bruised ones) today I was slightly thrown up on :rotfl2: I guess my students do not want me to forget about them over break, the week can only get better since it ends at Disney!!!! :thumbsup2

Today my 79 year old father called me just to ask what the countdown was. I think he's even more excited than I am to be going -- and that's saying something! :rotfl:

I couldn't fall asleep so I worked on my LGMH that will go on my backpack. Here it is!

What kind of symptoms do you start to get for being gluten intolerant?
Glad you figured it out.:thumbsup2
