OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!

I called at 5:00 and got AP rate on WL!!! 139.00 per night!!

I just do not get it ....been on the phone basically since I got home last night and still nothing except the "call tomorrow" and by the time I get through everything wil be gone given the how many hrs I have waited on the phone ...even had my husband sitting holding the phone on hold while I made dinner...has gotten very old. fine if the rates are not out but then do not give them to anyone or give them to everyone that asks with the same stinking code. the last 3 (since maybe 3 pm) I got said it says "pending do not book or discuss" so why are they still booking????????? have tried all 3 numbers. I am getting ticked

Sorry about the delay, someone came to my door to give me an estimate and I had to get off the phone! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway- YC-Standard- 259.00, Concierge-317.00 and Concierge deluxe- 370.00 BUT now I'm on the phone with another CM and she says AP rates for 2004 NOT out! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! SHe sytill says no AP rates- I'm gonna ask if they'll hold good to what I was quoted earlier.

Okay, here is my experience......... Called and talked to a really nice CM. She said that there were no codes in there at all. She sounded as if she hadn't been bothered with the question yet. So I told her about what was going on and she said to hold on and she would look to see if something had come out that she didn't know about..... Well about 10 minutes later I got cut off. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose, she was just way too nice.

So, I called back. Got another CM who has DEFINATELY gotton this call..... She said that they got a new system and she didn't have it yet, but evidently the CM's who have it are being able to put these in. She says it is a mistake and she isn't sure if those people will be able to keep those rates (this I don't believe, but it is what she said). She was a little stern, but still very nice about it.

Oh well, we will see what tomorrow brings........... I'm praying for rates!! It will save me about $650, and that is with paying $200 in cancellations charges on my existing Winter Dream Maker Pkg.

May the pixie dust be spread wide!!!

I hear ya Jann.....I've been on the phone on and off since last night also. I can't believe some get it and some don't...it just doesn't make sense(I am happy for those of you that did, don't get me wrong). Like I said last night, it's the luck of the draw. I've tried every number, asked every question, etc. If they could just get there stories straight they wouldn't be swamped with calls.
Does anyone have any idea if the AP rates will start with Jan.1st?
Does anyone else feel glued to the computer......my kids are bent out of shape because I haven't let them on since they have been home from school On a side note....isn't it funny how when a teenager signs on the internet 20 IM suddenly popup. I told my daughters how good they have it....when I was in high school when you talked to a boy, you actually had to look him in the eye!

Now......back to the phones...the heck with dinner!

let me say that I was on hold for about 25 minutes...The CM had to "roll" my old reservation to the new rate. Since I had already places a 220 deposit on my reservation, I now owe 330 at check-in..She did say that the AP rates were not "suppose" to be out, but that it brought up the AP rates...also, I didn't ask for a code, just a "ap" rate. I also first acted like it was a new reservation. When I called earlier and tried to "update" my current reservation, I was told there was no better rate than the AAA I already had. So after I got the "ap" rate...i told her I already had a reservation!

OK, thought I'd try again since everything is so hit and miss. He checked and told me (after quite some time) that AP rates didn't cover my time frame. I asked what time frame they covered but he said he couldn't discuss that with me. Stupid me just said OK and hung up. I should've said, "well maybe I'll rework my dates" but alas I didn't so I don't know what the time frame was. I'm sorry...I failed.

I just booked the GF Lagoon view for Jan 12-15 for $840 with tax.
I was booked in the lodge tower room with aaa and was paying $1180 for the three nights

I did get the AP rates and here is what I was told. They are for Jan and Feb. The CM did not say specifically what dates in these two months they would be available for. The first question I was asked was my zip code. Others who got the rate were also asked this question. Coincidence? I had been told that there were lots of different discounts available and the rates were the same as the AP rates but not the AP discount rate. Who knows the whole story! I called at 6:51 PM today (12/3) and was told there are no ap rates available and that they usually are notified two days in advance. I already have a reservation at WL for Jan.24-30. I will try calling again tomorrow. Oh by the way, I will be driving to Disney tomorrow and will get there on Friday with my husband and two little boys. We are taking a family vacation and staying at the Beach Club Villas, yeah! Good luck with the rates game, I am still playing too!

What did you ask for when you called? Did you say you were making a new reservation? Did you mention the AP rate first off??

They ask your zipcode because if you have booked before, they have your info...they know my daughter travels with me and that my sister went with me last year...

also...AP and FL Res rates usually ALWAYS end by Feb 12th or so...that is when rates go up for the spring break season..Peak Season..

Disneydmbnut - is the ap rate you got for WL a standard room or courtyard? I was wondering if anyone who has received the ap rate has received it for a standard room. I got AKL deluxe pool but she couldnt find standard with ap.

decided to call one last time. didn't wait too long to be told that they are not out. she did ask me to hold so she could double check and she came back on to say that it was a no go. She said to call back in the next couple of days.
honestly, i'm all for the chase and all for finding the best deal, but i feal a fever coming on, finals approaching, and i haven't left this foresaken computer in over 12 hours.
i will just wait till tomorrow. 7 am right?

kimlooman- if while your down there you could kick some sense into the res. dept, I would greatly appreciate it. Let them know that this makes no sense how some get the rate wave2: lucky lucky) and some don't.

Ok, called back and got a very helpful CM. Took all my info and looked everything up. According to her AP rates have not been released for booking purposes. They will be available tomorrow at 7am. She did tell me that AKL standard savannah room will be $149.00. plus tax. I'm planning to stay at PC so that doesn't really help me, except tempt me! LOL I told her I know of people that have already been able to book at AP rates and she said she didn't know how that would be possible. I then asked if perhaps just the deluxes were available at AP rates and the others would be released tomorrow (I thought that was a good theory) but she said no.
Well, I'll keep watching this thread tonight just in case and I'll definatly be calling at 7am sharp. She did verify my email addy though today.......hmmmmmmm

For 2/4 - 2/11. For a new ressie at POR, standard view for 5 people was $88/night. They also had availability for deluxe rooms at AKL for $140/night for pool view or $171/night for savannah. Also had BWI ($205/night standard, $260/night water, and I think $316/night concierge). BC had availability and YC Concierge. Some of these numbers may not be right, I was trying to drive and write at the same time (I almost never do that, but drastic times call for drastic measures ). The first person I talked to (Dove, very nice and knowledgeable), said there was no code. I called, first asked for room availability at POR for 2/4 to 2/11, once she gave me a rate, I then told her I was an AP holder and she looked up the rate and gave it to me. At the end of the call I asked her if there was a special code to get this rate and she said NO, she just plugged in I was an AP holder on her "Discover" page and got the rate. After talking to her, I called back and spoke to another CM and confirmed the rate. She didn't think AP rates were out yet but when I had her look at my ressie she confirmed they were AP rates and said the code was BCE. Maybe this has something to do with the different systems, one you need to specify the rate, one you don't?

I'm calling in again to change our ressies from POR to AKL.

139 is a standard room...FL Res rate is suppose to be 109. I will try to get that if it comes out. That will "free up" my AP rate for you all!


ps - the CM did add a note that I would like to be upgraded if possible!
