Buying DVC has been one of the best decisions we ever made for our family. It pretty much forces us to take family vacations. Not that we didn't already go to Disney a lot, but DVC gives us so many options. We drag our friends along a lot, which makes all of us happier. This week, the kids will be able to go play in a bedroom while us adults enjoy a few cocktails and watch David Cook ... I mean American Idol.

Have a great trip. We are doing our annual VBeach vacation in July but we really missed going to WDW for spring break this year. My kids all had different breaks. My daughter got to go to her friend's family condo in Ft. Myers though this past week. She used my free flight on SWA so it didn't cost her a thing. I was very jealous, I'll admit. It's been a long winter here.

I love having DVC even though I always am living on borrowed points! Last year, we did the huge vacation with the Poly/OKW split. We knew it would a while before all of us could go together again so we went all out. (one kid in college, one starting next year, one still in grade school)

Mandy...you're making me nostalgic for the good ole MMC days...the first tape (that's right, tape) I ever bought was of The Party -- the band that was formed by 5 of the older members (Chase included) of the Mickey Mouse Club. I had a crush on both the girls...Tiffani and DeeDee...I have no idea where that tape is now, but I still remember songs from it.



When I was 10, we stayed at the GF. I'd never want to stay there now...I love walking through it and listening to the band and the piano player, but I don't fit in there a bit. Our home is actually the Boardwalk (DVC members), but the Poly is my favorite and I also really like Port Orleans French Quarter -- everything's so close by at POFQ that it's never a far walk to the pool or the food and it always seems so quiet and serene there.

DH2B LOVE Boardwalk! and it's even better during Christmas time!!

we're staying at POFQ the week we're down there for our wedding for the first time. i'm really excited i've wanted to stay there for a while now!

we get to stay there for free the night of our wedding! it's like a delux suite or something, i can't wait! i told DH2B "we need to take a lot of pictures because this is the only time we'll probably ever even see a room in GF"

LOL, I have a habit of thinking that the person posting looks like their SIGNATURE!! You had that pic of Orlando Bloom laying down for the longest and that's what I saw you as!!

I think you look so cute and YES you look like a lil Irish girl! We are always our worse critics!

What is with all the DISNEY talk on this board???

Wish I could add something, but I've only been to WDW once. DisneyLAND is another story though. We're probably going tomorrow. If ONLY we could see a few of the AI contenstants walking around, but they are probably too busy for that.

I am still counting the days down until Tuesday. And last night I finally burned the 6 DC songs I have onto a CD and listened to them in the car. He sounds great as you're speeding down the freeway!

lol DH2B actually asked me to download DC's songs so he can burn them for both of us!

In the first round of Hollywood, Simon told David that he will look vulnerable without his guitar so he said no for him to get a pass to the last day. Randy and Paula said yes, so he advanced. After the performance, Ryan asked David why he thought that Simon didn't like him. David said that Simon must be jealous of his hair and that was why he was hatin' on him. I thought it was very funny. I love dry humor.

I also read that David said that due to genetics, he only had 15 hairs on his head so there wasn't much the stylists could do.

My best guess is that when he made it in Hollywood (late November I think) the stylists probably told him to grow it out so they would have more to work with. I think it's cute since my dh and sons all have that baby fine hair. I think it looks better and better every week.

i just think David himself, in general, looks better and better every week!

my family.....well.....not a lot of my family. my family has issues and we're not all very close. my parents are coming(along with a lot of complaining about everything lol) most of DH2B's family is coming and some of our friends are coming. we're very excited!

WOW. I gotta admit I would not be here if I was leaving for WDW soon. I get too spastic cleaning and double checking my packing lists. I have lists of lists I'm a little ocd with travel planning.

Well, a trip to Disney isn't as big a deal for us as it is for others planning wise. We're all Disney geeky, but we're local and go often. We actually have one bag always packed to take to the park. It has our lanyards, passes, sunglasses, diapers/wipes, and anything else we need each time we go. We just add a few things like snacks, fans, camera, on the day we leave. That's the most organized I am in my life, my Disney trips.

I just realized I forgot to get CD-R's to record all my AI stuff for in the car! I had even got my DD2 a movie so I could have my CD player back.
