So here is how I see the Scott situation...For those of you who proclaim that he should be given a second chance to straighten his life out and that those "who are without sin shall cast the first stone" I say ok but I might add that although I am far from without sin I also have never done anything that has brought the police to my door.
That being said my complaint with Scott is that he is using his downtrodden past as a way to garner votes. He is no fool, he realizes that a large percentage of his votes are from those who "pity" him and want to "help" him get back on the right track. Therefore EVERY time he gets a chance to speak now he plays the pity card. From introducing his song on Tuesday to his long-winded speech last night, this is getting out of control.
Everyone derserves a second chance BUT when you decide to use your past as an advantage against your fellow contestants you cross the line. That is why I think he should be sent packing as soon as possible. Without playing the sympathy card he would have been gone long before this. Scott knows it and so should you.
