I'm a big fan of Anwar but that was not his best performance.

Let me just state my opinion again - I just don't get Anwar. First off, that song was enough to put anyone to sleep, and then he just seemed a little off. I'll admit that his voice is pretty good (probably the best trained voice in the bunch), but he uses it in such a boring way.

As a side note, I'm not really liking the set. Maybe its just me, but everyone seems a little weird standing on it. Maybe as the show goes on, I'll be able to pinpoint what's funky about it for me.

It's really kinda sad that Constantine is my favorite so far.

Mykalah showed alot of energy, but her "Son of a Preacher Man" was, as they say, "pitchy". Not her best performance.

Constantine had a slightly rocky start with "You Make Me So Very Happy", but he pulled himself up and had a terrific finish.

Constantine really needed a good song like that! He got to show off his great voice for a change!

This is the first time I've actually liked Constantine. I still think he's smarmy but he was good this time. Excellent choice of song.

Now THAT is what Constantine needs to do! Finally he isn't trying to take on a song that is so owned by the original singer so that you end up looking like a pale imitation.

Was it just me or did anyone else have trouble understanding Mikayla as she was singing? It sounded like she was mumbling the lyrics at times. Plus.. (and I'm getting catty here.. ) red bra under the black and silver sweater?

Man - Randy and Simon really slammed him!! Poor Anthony. I like him, but he's not my favorite.

Lindsay was better than I thought she'd be, and she showed a good bit of energy. Still, I think she'd better "Knock, Knock, Knock on Wood" that she does better next week.

Anthony did a pretty good job with "Breaking Up is Hard to Do"; but, again, no one has really stood out so far (though he's been the best so far).

ITA with the poster that said it is sad that so far Constantine is the favorite.

Mikaylah was awful, and I hate when they sing the wrong words and didn't she saw when cousin billy would take me walking? ok so now she has turned the song into an incest song. good grief I think it is going to be hard to decide who to get rid of rather then who to keep tonight!
