Yea. The latest from the insider on Reddit says Terrifier is the plan for a Friday announcement. Which is fine. I would be skipping that house as I am not a fan of the series at all.

Also, random, but I realized I have been on the DIS for almost 20 years now... I feel old.

Most IPs for hhn I don't care about as I don't watch horror movies. Which is why I always liked originals more. But I'll still to in those houses just to check it out.

Yea. I am excited for Jason and most FNAF. I am not a Fallout fan, but I think it could make a fun house.

I just don't like Terrifier. Never have. I think it pushes my limits when it come to gore for the sake of gore. So I am happy to skip the house and let other people have their fun.

yeah - well over 20 years myself - was lurking for several years before I actually joined so over 25 years id say

Rumor is no express attached to it this year, but we'll see.

Was watching a video and they said there may be a limited amount much like last year - so if you have the chance to buy them buy them - don't wait. I guess a few months ago is was 100% there would be no express options, but now its rumored there may be.

I still think it will be ROF with express and the rest without - but I guess we will find out tomorrow.

I'm on the fence with going at all so an express option would make it much easier decision and I would have to do it tomorrow.

Only reason I'm wanting to go even is cause of Jason house and wwe.

Makes sense - if I was local it would be one night and if its great you can always add a night here and there - but when you fly in I feel like I have to make the most of it.

Just to mention it - I see a lot of the hard core HHN content creators are unhappy that Universal is not inviting them to the press night. It was somewhat similar for Epic - many people who were invited to Epic press days were not Universal people and for the most part have not been back and those that go all the time (even with the cost of a ticket) were not.

Thoughts? Maybe Universal is assuming they will all be going anyway, and those who watch them will be going anyway.
That said I do look forward to seeing those in depth videos every year.

They may also be assuming they will all go to the premium night and be able to record in the houses (I think)

In the end not a big deal to me - the access the "influencers" get can be a bit annoying, but I also feel like Universal is just getting a lot less personal and starting to go that Disney route which is why I left Disney. Seems like all the influencers got the same cut and paster response. Any emails I sent in the last few months seem to get an AI response.

As I have said before I regret my trip for Epic previews and I really regret buying an AP - I feel like I have to go just to get some value out of it. (getting off topic of HHN now I guess). As I've said before its somewhat ridiculous that AP holders don't get early access to the multilight tickets

Meh. I think the ones crying about it (and one I know is true for) are ones that usually have said a lot of negative things about UO. And to UO this is marketing tactic, so there's no reason to invite those that may trash it.

It's not exactly unknown that to get invites you need to suck up to the company (same goes for disney)

Agreed - somewhat - no doubt some people overdo the negative for drama in some cases and probably should not be shocked.
If Universal put out a decent product then maybe people wont trash it - I'm not the only one who has not wanted to go to HHN the last few years and keep allowing myself to get sucked back in (just like Disney) - and there are several who don't go at all anymore - or only go one night.

It also seems from what I've heard (more than one) they are focusing on TikTok folks who do short form with the focus on themselves and not so much HHN - remains to be seen of course.

It's just getting harder and harder to support it - especially as the costs of EVERYTHIGN rise - Im still scratching my head as to why its $50 a night cheaper for Terra Luna vs Dockside during HHN.

I continue to do the Behind the Screams tour and honestly it nowhere near the level of detail it was say pre-pandemic.
The detail was over the top to the point of ridiculous - now there is still good detail - but not like it was.

All the talk this year has been pretty positive for HHN this year - even from the negative folks.

Sorry to drone on - Im really just bored hanging around waiting for the damn tickets to go on sale today.

Because Terra Luna is further away from Studios than Dockside so when you are leaving HHN after walking 10 miles you have a longer bus ride back to your room.

Yeah there used to be a meetup back in the day in the Irish bar.
I went once or twice and hung around in the background.
Unfortunately they really don't let you hang around in the bar anymore - its basically in and out no loitering.
The cost is prohibitive as well.

Its too bad as it was a great place to hang out with folks from the HHN community - had a lot of great conversations at that bar .

True - of course last year Dockside was $60 less a night.

Im fine with an extra 10 minutes on the bus for $50 a night - and in theory a better hotel - although that remains to be seen.

(BTW - its a 14 night stay so its a large price difference - not just one or two nights)
