you will just get in the line for the particular houses.

So, lines meaning instead of being held back in pen (in a long line), they will have guests enter whatever queue and basically hang out in the backstage areas?

Sounds like a perfect storm The temporary staff they hire to work HHN crowd control has their handsful in the main park.

May still be a pen, but the actual lines will be at the houses

I'm missing the inherent difference/improvement between the way they currently form their lines within the pens and waiting in a line as you describe

but the whole NY area was a mess the last couple of years with those lines

Chaotic, as expected tho. If anything, were there multiple Days over Columbus Day weekend and felt everything flowed better than expected based upon same time period over the years

i didn’t really like the NY stay and scream the last 2 years

If anything, they may need to determine a reasonable occupancy level in the zones (not the parks as a whole) and enforce it

Set up an overflow pen, perhaps in the concert grass area Guests would be released after NY proper, still before the horde at the gate

Why am I thinking the lure of monetizing a prime stay & scream experience may be coming lol

the cost of rooms even with an AP is pretty crazy and no idea what the multi night tickets will be.

Every year, I keep hoping to see multi night tix roll out.

We gave up on the deluxe resorts over our HHN focused trips several years ago. Spend the bulk of day @ pool, into parks by 3 pm & can knock out 2 -3 rides easily Leave a day or two for parks on the off nights

Oddly, official HHN website not updated yet

Announced yesterday @ spooky empire panel:

"...this will be the most immersive event yet for Halloween Horror Nights and the overall theme of the event would be “The Conservatory.”

Michael Aiello, Sr. Dir. Entertainment Creative for Universal Orlando said they wanted to take a step back and define what is horror for this year.

What things come to mind when you think about initial horror feel. He said gothic textures come to mind like stained glass, vines, gargoyles, etc. This will be the overwhelming theme throughout the event."
