"Official" 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Well since the parties will be starting in a couple of days I figured it's time for me to start following this thread again. After a long hiatus from the Halloween party last year my husband and I went to the 2nd last party. I really enjoyed following this thread and appreciated all the helpful information from everyone. Although this year my husband and I aren't going to a party I have family from North Carolina joining us this year who will be going on October 28th to their first Halloween party and I am so excited for them. They are really looking forward to it. So I am looking forward to following along on here again so I can pass along all the helpful information to my excited family members. So I am thanking everyone in advance for all your party reviews and helpful information. Enjoy your Halloween parties everyone. 🎃

This trip I'm debating letting him get the other candy and then sifting through it to avoid nuts, which he cannot have. Is there a way to find out what's going to be given on the trails?
It’s Mars candies. Snickers, Milky Way, Twix, M&Ms, Peanut M&Ms, skittles / skittles gummies, starburst.

I think the only thing you’ll have to sort out are the Snickers & Peanut M&Ms (and maybe the Milky Way/Twix? Not really sure what’s in that).

I have a question about food allergies and the candy. We went before, and when we traded in the tokens for candy my kid got about a dozen pieces. For the most part it was solid and dark chocolate, and a few skittle type things, which wasn't very appealing to a young boy and he was very disappointed. Others had full bags and he didn't get much at all.

Is there information about what he will get when he trades the tokens in?
And is it still one token given to a child who comes through the trail (which translated into one piece of candy later?)
Last year some of the food allergy choices were crisp rice chocolate bar, sunbutter cups, yum earth gummies and lollipops, Werther's (I think it was sugar free), smarties, granola, and graham crackers. Each time we went, we had one token and got about half a bag or more of treats that were free of our allergens. You can go through as many times as you want.
With the parties starting tomorrow, the allergy treat information should be available in the next couple of days as the vloggers put out their videos.

For our nut allergy situation, we don't eat anything that "may contain" or "manufactured in a facility with" so the trick or treating is basically a no-go. We got tons of the allergy treats though but they aren't very exciting. They gave my daughter TONS.

Of the above list someone gave, we would only eat the starburst or skittles. However, I'm not comfortable eating all that knowing it's mixed with the peanut m&ms and possible contamination on the other packages, like if a bag broke open and there were nuts floating around.

It just depends on the allergy sensitivity and your comfort level.

If you go to town hall at the end of the night they usually hand out very full bags for the allergy stuff. At least, that was our experience.

I think I'm the only one not trying to book Beak and Barrel! 😄 First, I couldn't yet anyways, second I don't think we want to go, especially during the party.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good cocktail/glass of wine and will be trying very hard for GEO-82, but this doesn't appeal to us. It does look cute though!

Good luck all trying!
