"Official" 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Bummed that the last few parties of the season are so expensive. I've been going by myself the past few years while the family have a nice TS and early night. We are doing the Christmas party instead this year. I am fighting with myself about whether I will regret not buying a ticket.
What is a TS?

Hi everyone! We will be attending the party and I am going back and forth on booking the dessert party. I know that the dessert portion isn't the most important part of it for us, but rather gathering my group of family that will most likely split up for parts of the MNSSHP before the fireworks. There are 8 of us in total and the $$ part is fine (ugh, but we certainly can do it). It seems like it would alleviate a bit of stress finding a spot/coordinating the time...ect. What do you think? Yes? No? I was there last year with my daughter and it was crowded and it was just us, but yeah, 8 people? It seems like a no brainer? Thanks for your opinions!
This is a tough one. It’s just my husband and I and I thought about it too. Like you, not motivated by the desserts, just the dedicated viewing area. I haven’t booked it though because I can’t wrap my head around using party time for it.

When do they announce the special party food?

I'm bored at work and need something to do. 😂
Same. I'm wanting all the things! I usually consume all the content, but I'm going to the 2nd party this year, so there may not be as much out before mine. eek!

We are waiting on more information too! Planning is part of the fun for me! This will be our second party and we had such a blast last year. I hope the parade still runs twice!

Has anyone ever done a VIP tour during the Halloween party?

I'm a part of a group that is planning a tour in September. Without getting into the whole story, I'm basically being invited a long as part of an incentive and I'm not planning or paying for it so I'll go with the flow regardless lol.

It's possible the tour could be planned for during the party based on availability. I'd prefer a regular day, but not my choice. :)

So if that does happen, what are VIP tours like during the party considering there are "lower-ish" crowds anyway? Are there any special perks or benefits of doing a tour then vs. a regular day?

I didn't think they did VIP tours during parties? I think they end at 6 on party days, and then you'd have to buy a ticket to the party.

If they do, It seems like it would be a waste of a lot of money though.

I don't know, but what I was told is the tour would *only* be during the party and we would be buying a party ticket, not a day ticket.

It was July 30 last year and July 24 in 2023, thinking it will be next week!
Thank you for taking a time to look at this. I was wondering it but hadn't bothered doing the homework yet. Normally I just let the news come when it comes and don't think heavily about it but we are doing the first party for the first time so I'm invested in the news earlier then normal. Hoping for a good pin/cup design this year as last years was great (in my opinion)

I have not heard of a VIP tour being offered on the party and never looked at it. A can't afford it right now (still a bucket list) and B I don't think I'd do it for the party anyway.

I've never heard of VIP tours being offered during a party. Honestly can't really see the draw to be paying VIP prices during a party as waits are historically low. I understand you may not be paying for it but I'd be a little leery about this. Is the source of your invitation a reliable source?

Also, VIP tours have a minimum of 7 hours. So your tour would spend all of it's time at the party? If not, you would need to have a day ticket plus a party ticket.

I'm curious to find out if this pans out as others have said, VIP tours during parties is not something that I've heard of in the past.

I'm a travel agent and my host agency is taking us on a VIP tour (I didn't mention that before because I'm honestly not sure it's allowed). But yes it's a reputable source. :)

Apparently they do offer them during the party. It's not talked about because there probably aren't that many people who book them then.

In regards to the VIP tour during a party, we have seen plaids at the party before in line for Space and Pirates. We assumed it may have been someone famous but it could have been a VIP tour.

You can definitely do it. I have personally inquired about it in previous years. They cannot guarantee VIP access to the characters when there isn't a LL entrance. All the rides were fair game in addition to parade and fireworks viewing locations.

That actually makes more sense now. I would think part of the reason is to acquaint agents with the party so they can guide their clients better. A VIP tour seems like a great way for your group to see & do it all. Something most people don’t get to do.

Question: The first pages of this thread say the parade is at 8:15 and 11:15. But my touringplans app is telling me the first parade is at 9:15.

Anyone know which of these is correct?
